One thing I will add. As a super conservative, this place DID not run out of water. It ran out of pressure. I talked to the fire crews. It was a perfect storm. You had people turning sprinklers on before evacuating, you had broken water mains everywhere and 20+ fire rigs tying into hydrants everywhere. Then the power company shuts the power down because they don't want the fire on them, which puts the pumps on generators. It was a pressure issues, not a water issues. That's not to say California isn't a mess on water, but the water supply wasn't an issue.

So the structures are burned to the ground and cars are melted, yet the trees are still there with leaves and the bushes right next to the house are just fine...? I have seen super flammable ceder and gum and eucalyptus trees hanging with leaves intact hanging over multi story mansions that were completely leveled.... That's not normal! Kids plastic playsets next to incenerated homes, blue plastic trash cans sitting brand new looking inside garages that were leveled or next to cars and homes that were incenerated... Plastic usually turns to hot melting flammable goop when exposed to high temperatures! But okay your right everything is completely normal... No water in the fire hydrants? That's because the static energy that causes the crazy, not normal winds is caused by a macro wave energy source that vaporizes H2O in its beam path... That process obviously evaporated the water out of the steel pipes! Tell me how a brush fire burns pipes in the ground or ignites non flammable telephone poles and melts the electric lines and meter box's... I mean, smgdh... The energy concentration is so intense that anything, that is conductive, like metal or H2O, will have a ground fault reaction creating an arc, anything touching that arc would incenerate at extremely high temperatures, think plasma cutter, this is why plastic objects didn't melt, or the "open to the elements" super dry osb of the under construction home right next door didn't catch fire.... The osb was dry and had no H2O to boil or metal to combust... Unlike the steel banded tires of the car parked out in front of the leveled house that was also incenerated... It's the same thing that happens when you put foil in a microwave, but on a larger scale... The trees and foliage don't burn because wood doesn't conduct electricity very well... But DEW you know what does conduct electricity....? Everything that these "wild fires" DEW burn!

The dry kindling brush/grass landscape that they’ve somehow decide to build into/around, is just ridiculous - more-so w/ the fact that whilst an aware and pro-active property owner may well invest the time and effort to remediate their property of these type of landscape debris, that indeed doesn’t insulate them from the risks of wind-flung hot embers from areas even great distances away… and yet they’ve known this and still insist on using wood-based construction materials - concrete, tile, steel and similar fire resistant materials are plentiful and proven in their ability to withstand flame/heat and pressure… hope that bldg code, state legislation and ultimately the property insurance regulations require that any structures placed into what should now be considered “wildfire zones” (similar to FEMA flood zone designations), must be constructed of location-relevant materials, IMHO

At some point in time soon, those affected by the fires, and wiped out, will begin to demand answers as to why this disaster was as bad as it was and still is. And most of the finger-pointing will go to the governor for his horrendous policies that obviously made fire conditions as bad as they could possibly get. There will be no "warm and fuzzy" eco friendly bs excuse for this disaster. The governor should resign over this catastrophe. If the California citizens allow the governor to escape punishment for this disaster--they deserve what they get. How obvious can this be?
