This is such a good run. I'd never read much Hulk, and most of my reading consists of DC, but I started with the visionaries series and I'm just about to start volume 8, which collects up to issue 396 I think. This run has made Hulk one of my favourite Marvel characters and probably one of my favourite characters in general. I can't recommend this series enough.

Dude, it took me four times to buy this... I kept hitting submit order and it kept saying there was an error processing the request... I was about to be soooo pissed if I missed it. Seems most people were in there to buy the infinity gauntlet omnibus since that sold out in like 10 minutes(I have the whole big boxset with everything from silver surfer Jim Starlin to Infinity crusade) so I passed on the Omni especially since I heard it’s missing some infinity watch issues that the boxset has.

I think you got the standard and DM covers backwards. The grey Hulk vs green Hulk is the standard cover and the DM cover is the banner to Hulk change. Checked Tales of Wonder and that's how they have it.

Peter David's nineties x factor run is great, but the stuff in this omnibus is probably better. His second x factor run is mind blowing. It's on a par with this omnibus in my opinion

#375 cover has a printing error. Super Skrull's flames should be red-orange instead of black and his fist should be above the Incredible Hulk title(which is by the way not rendered). I haven't detected any other printing error, so it's not a deal breaker for me. This is an incredible book to say the least.

Can’t imagine there’s much better than DCBS. I doubt there’s a place you’ll find a better discount, they package everything perfectly, and they have super easy online ordering system. I’ve been screwed too many times by standard brick & mortar retailers and DCBS has been amazing 99% of the time. If you pre-order there you’ll get the book no problem.

This is the Hulk that was going on when I was first getting in to comics. It's funny to think that to me, the hulk was the "Professor Hulk". That's how he always was to me. I had this vague understanding that he had once been grey, and was some sort of mob worker. I always think about how the 90's was such a weird time to get into comics with things like that. Strange to think about some kid with no knowledge of comics picking up an issue of Batman for the first time, and it's Jean Paul Valley. To that kids mind, Jean Paul IS Batman, haha. I've been getting the Hulk in Epic collection, so hopefully they build up from the forth coming volume 15 to get through this material.
