Should be made default, for every new raid going forward. Ideally, a retrofit of older raids to unlock some of the QoL things (like Self-Res, or the raid skips). In Vanilla and some of the early expansions, they used to have Reputations that were specific from killing mobs/bosses inside a raid.

Other expansions have had reputation linked to raid. Kara and ICC specifically.

Do my eyes deceive me? A cool mount that I know, if I put in the time and effort, I will eventually attain in a reasonable amount of time instead of being locked in RNG hell for years? What a concept!

lol the very last reward is a teleport to the raid, want to bet that this rep is seasonal and will be removed. And definitely not progress able in LFR, which makes sense as it would make it too easy. It’s a battle pass.

@@catrinastars they aren't going to cut out an entire group of players, it will 100% be progressed in LFR. mounts have dropped in LFR for a while now, even the Finery dropped in LFR. if anything it might be a little slower to progress, but I suspect it will be renown drops per boss, kinda like a "do the highest difficulty you can", so theres no need to do a lower difficulty if you killed boss on a higher. but regardless of the specifics, I would be completely shocked if it wasn't progressed in LFR.

I hate rng mounts. Even doe i have invincible i wouldnt mind it having a higher rng for rare mounts. 1% is abosolutely shit.

@@ohnoezitsjoez just pointing out that raid teleports have been a reward for mythic ahead of the curve, I just can’t see them giving something like that away as a raid rep, without it going away.

There were other reps tied to raids, like Hydraxian Waterlords for Molten Core, Ashtongue Deathsworn for Black Temple, Ashen Verdict for Icecrown Citadel etc. This is just the first Renown tied to it!

As someone relatively new to WoW, I love this and that the mount is achievable over time. I don’t love items locked behind really difficult content that I will never have a shot of obtaining. So this track is exciting for me. Thanks!

I actually love the idea of raid tied renown. It's basically just giving Blizzard a better framework for what they were already doing through items, achievements etc. Would also make it more interesting for old raids if there is more to them than run, spank and hope your item drops. Potentially could even add some out of raid sources of rep, which might open some avenues for tying raid together with the rest of the game more. Idk tho I've never played wow

We had already Rep tied to raids in classic 20 years ago. We had Hydraxians in MC. You couldn't even summon bosses in the raid if you didn't unlock the water to purge the runes in raid. Also Zandalari rep in Zul'Gurub unlocked shoulder enchants. Both reps were earned by doing the raids mainly. We also had some AQ related rep that allowed you to buy weapons and armor but that rep was also earned outside. It was fine back then and it will be fine now.

If you didnt Notice but people use raids to gear up More than Anything else, so Im guessing Wow did the Raid Focus Rep because of it. You Need to check the numbers between Raids and Mythic and the amount of People playing and where .

I love everything about this! One thing that I’m still curious about will be the renown pacing. My first instinct would assume 1 renown per week (assuming full clear), which might make sense with the damage buffs. However waiting 8 weeks for raid skip feels long, when previously it might take 4 full clears to unlock a raid skip feels long

I'm assuming it's gonna be different for every difficulty. Like 1 renown/week if Normal, 2 renown/week if Heroic, and so on

Based on the damage % buff from this past raid you can probably get 1 renown rank a week. puts first dmg % at week 3 which is right after the typical RTWF timeframe has ended

I mean, having the rep tied to a raid is not really new right? It also fits this theme of Cartels and Gangsters. I hope it is something like each boss drops 500 rep. So every 5 bosses = one renown. But it will prob be 300 rep each boss, who one renown about every clear.

I think it's a good idea, but as per usual, the rewards for gear and a TP are too far into the reward track, by week 17, one piece of gear will be absolutely pointless, and the teleport should be like rank 5 at most. Make it easier to get to raids so people actually do them.

M+ should be removed from WoW. PvP can take its place on the vault. M+ is a mini game that has nothing to do with the Lore. Take it out of Azeroth and make it a mobile game. The poison spread throughout all group content due to the timer is immeasurable.
