First Look! Space Engineers 1.204 "Signal" DLC + Red Ship v2

Patch 1.204 just dropped today. I bought it so I can show you what the new Space Engineers Signal DLC has for us. This is a quick look at some of the things I'll be introducing in much more detail through my solo series.
We're also going to take a look through the newly updated Red Ship.

I've not had time to play anything recently (its car building season for me) still going to buy the DLC to support KSH - its pretty much the same as buying them a coffee. 10 years of entertainment so far - well worth it.

There's some nice little extras in this pack, you'll get the best stuff for free, but in the DLC are some really neat bits.

I’m working on a battle cruiser. When I get attacked I want this thing to warp in and just be a sniper from afar.

How do i get the fighter ship to fly? I cant get any boosters to turn on

What kind of thrusters? Atmospheric needs air and electricity (battery with charge or reactor with fuel), Hydrogen needs a hydrogen fuel tank with hydrogen in and conveyor pipes connecting the thruster to the fuel source as well as some power. Ions just need power but are only useful in space. You’ll also need a cockpit or control seat to operate them and a button on your seat’s hot bar to turn the thrusters on or off. Ship power needs to be on (y) and it needs to be a ship, not station (info tab from in your seat) and not locked to anything stationary with mag plates or landing gear. Hope that helps!

Don't like the new desk model doesn't make it a cockpit option

Yeah I was wondering what that desk was doing in there. The consoles are cool and should look ok around a helm block.
