Out of this series I like this handle material the best. I just with they paired it with the black blade and bolster. It is to bad there is no Micarta version. Thank you for sharing Paddy!

Paddy thanks for the first look of the Pioneer. Beautiful pattern! Wish Ben would have these available in micarta or wood. This Pioneer pattern begs for those types of covers. A Jack Wolf Pioneer in micarta and K390 would be a patina lover's dream.

Not found of the handle shape, with edges. Maybe the material doesn't help to appreciate it, my taste. The blade is awesome, and i'd like a lot this blade on the Venom Jack handle,*. Thanks for sharing, Paddy. And thanks for designing these knifes Ben. *Edit : and some bone, wood or micarta. At least one natural looking material in the choice.

I love sodbusters, and I love Jack Wolf knives. They're perfection, pricey but perfection isn't cheap. I'm not a fan of ultem but like the other materials. Really hope Ben uses more wood, and some bone, in the future.

Thanks for the video. That's a nice knife, but $300 for a Chinese slipjoint is above my pay grade. I'd love to get one for free, though, in case you plan a GAW.

That's a good looking folder! And I've had some great experiences with S90V. Not a massive fan of the ultem myself for hard-use since it shows similar easy scratching as raffir noble for example. But hey, might add to the charm and you could always swap them out if need be :)

Mine arrived today, also with Ultum scales. The first impression is indeed mixed... The blade, the hollow grind, the swedge on the spine of the blade look clean and well made. The transition from blade to spring is also clean, although not at the level of a Moki. The two kinks on the back spring look very cool. But now for the Ultum - it feels like plastic and is not as cleanly finished as the rest of the knife. Thus, the edges on my copy are sharp and frayed. However, the yellow-gold color and the slightly transparent lock fit the titanium very well. All in all, I do not know yet whether it is worth the price. It can prove itself in the next few days.
