Beautiful cover and nice wording choices for English but It's a completely different song now. Utada Hikaru wrote First Love as her memories and her experiences from her first love but never intended to get back with him. First Love it's more of a song to get over with and move on. Overall I loved the cover though! Good Job!!

I think some of the lyrics wouldn’t make sense - the part about ‘tobacco flavour’ would just sound ridiculous in English. If you listen to bands like Day6, and their versions of Congratulations, and You wee beautiful, the English versions aren’t translated, they’re almost completely re-written to better suit the language. The passion and the feeling behind them is the same 😊
