Most exciting and tense frames of the match. Enjoy this dramatic first meeting at the Crucible between two of the greatest of all time. The ebullient crowd celebrates Ronnie and Mark's great shots, as well as suffering their mistakes.
Class of '92 at the Crucible up to 2020 (Warning: it shows who won the match in the video):
- John Higgins 3 - 2 Ronnie O'Sullivan (1998, 2007, 2011) - (1996, 2001)
- Mark Williams 3 - 1 John Higgins (1999, 2000, 2018) - (2011)
- Ronnie O'Sullivan 5 - 0 Mark Williams (2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2020) - (NA)
The statistics shown in the video correspond to the date of the match.
Cesar Muroya created a unique editing technique to extract the essence of the game without losing the drama involved. Contextual information is also an innovation appreciated by viewers.
This format is not intended to substitute the full version but rather to make snooker more accessible to new fans. The fluency and atmosphere of the game stay in a shorter length video, allowing even experienced fans to enjoy snooker at any time.

Another great watch - thanks Cesar! Must've been hell of a match all throughout, especially since Williams is also one of my true favourites. Someone said this match was higher standard than the one a few weeks ago, but to be honest, to me it looks very similar, based on these frames - i imagine there was a few lacklustre ones too. Not perfect, but extremely good. The commentators mention earlier Hendry-Bond QF...any chance you have that and would consider making a video out of it? i love Bond's recent resurgence...

When these commentators describe a sports person as a genius I do wish they would add the name of their sport in front of the word, Messi is a football genius for sure but to say he is a genius and leave it at that is wrong to say the least and the same here with Ronnie O'Sullivan he is without a shadow of a doubt a snooker genius but in the other context I think not !!

It's contextual and I think that almost all viewers would understand this description of a multiple world champion and the holder of the most 147 breaks in competitive snooker. I don't think they are referring to Messi, Federer, Galileo, Curie or Einstein.

Willo just can't beat him🤔he's the greatest 20 majors 37 ranking titles the most premier leagues the most centuries and 147s keeping hendry Higgins Williams Selby robbo ding trump now Wilson at bay entertaining us for decades keeping snooker afloat in the most competitive era ever keeping sponsors happy and viewing figures up all on his own terms never been a slave to the game or politically perfect........ Only last year he beat judd again and robbo to win the inaugural coral series at 43 to return to world number 1 😁his aura and presence is unique nobody like him everything he does makes headlines and now at 44 he's the world champion again for the 6th time his longevity is legendary 👌and he's not done yet😁

@@LucasGautero ah, you're allowed to do that though. You'll see it often after a long pot if the player isn't on a good pot they'll play an easy snooker behind a baulk colour instead. A free ball only comes into a play when a player fouls and leaves the white in a place such that the player coming to the table can't see both sides of the object ball. The important part being that it has to be a foul, otherwise it's just a snooker.
