I tried running years ago when I was on my weightloss journey and it was no good on my hips and back. The chiropractor told me to stop that nonsense. I think jogging is fine and it doesn't hurt me. But there is a difference between running and jogging. I have never been able to wear crop tops or bikinis because my belly has always been a sore sight. Unfortunately, stretch marks have plagued me since I was a kid. I got them all over. Never had kids either. I have always been a bigger girl but I think if I didn't have all these stretch marks, I would show my tummy. Why not. But stretch marks are scars and will never go away. 😢😢

400 calories or less a meal is quickly going to burn you out. 1200 calories is extremely low and dangerous for your height and weight. Please look into getting a dietitian or nutritionist or even a coach to help you.

@theresae4697 I save extra calories for snacks and for when I'm stealing bites of my kids' food! I'm regularly getting 1400 - 1500 calories a day. Although I'm not sure if that's the ideal range for me still. I'd love to see a nutritionist to get better advice, but unsure if we can afford the visit right now. One of my goals this year is to get a doctors visit, so I'm hoping I can get a little advice there!

The best thing you can do it get your calorie burn from a TDEE calculator and deduct no more than 500 calories and then track your calories. After 2 weeks, adjust if needed. Strength training is very important for muscle growth and more muscle equals more calorie burn. I did a reverse diet a couple years ago and with strength training, I was able to get my calorie intake up to 2300 without gaining fat. I know it's hard to do something like that when you just want to lose weight and be thin. I worked with a health coach on that. She was different from a personal trainer. I followed her for a year on IG before I hired her. There's a lot of BS coaches out there so if you go that route, be careful. They just want your money.
