Pro-tip: Next time leave the top oil cap on until you release the bottom. The oil will come out slower. After a minute or so, you can open the top to get the oil moving faster.

U should always start it and let it run for maybe 10-15 seconds before checking the oil because it could read full but once all the oil circulates thru the motor it could read a little low just some constructive thoughts

Nice car ,The best way to tell if ur car needs heavier oil than factory specification is to listen to the motor when u first start up after oil change ,and if it rattle before the oil comes up that tells u that u have high clearances in the motor and need to go to a higher weight or heavier oil. I have notice that many new Ford's v8 would rattle after oil change for a few seconds before the oil comes up and those were the engines that got messed up if u didn't go to heavier weight oil.

I love how coyotes have always ticked (11-present) but now everyone flips out and acts like its a new issue. My 2014 ticks and has for 40k miles and MANY pulls. Its fine, send it, the motor isn't hurt. I run 5W-50 and it still ticks.

Rush, i like you as a creator bro. Especially now that you have a mustang. I HIGHLY recommend you buying a oil catch can for the passenger side. Its shocking how much oil vapor it captures from normal and spirited driving. My GT500 has had one on for a week now and its almost a quarter full

I just ordered the UPR one for mine. I have 6k kms on my 2018, and can't believe it took this long to pull the trigger on one lol. Our Canadian dollar is worthless, and after conversion, it might as well be $500 and that's a lot for a friggen good quality catch can if you ask me. Mines an Ecoboost, not a GT, sorry to disappoint ;-P

Joao Salvattore i would consult with Ford. But the catch can literally comes off and on in 2 seconds. So you can just do that when you take it in for service.

I always put my drain pan inside a big low profile big pan. Works great and nothing to do but wipe it out after the oil change. Love my 16PP

Shift knob doesn't look bad, but I would have gone with the GT350 shift knob... has red accents and looks great, IMO. Would go great with the red interior accents.

I changed my oil at 500k kms, with cheap walmart brand synthetic oil and k&n oil filter. I have an Ecoboost and love how easy it is to change the oil. The drain plug and filter and right beside each other. My old RSX with kseries engine was such a pita, because the filter sat horizontal, and didn't really matter how you did it, there would be oil to wipe up off the subframe ect ect. I can't wait to get a GT in the future. Congrats on your purchase, you picked a great color "Shadow Black" #thumbsUP

That oil is a blend of Group 2 and Group 3. What you want is a Group 4. Motul, Redline, Royal Purple or AMSOIL Signature. No wonder the engine ticks.

As long as it's AMSOIL's Signature Series, you are in great shape. It's PAO and Ester so it's Group 4/5 Blend. Same as REDLINE. You can't do better! Ester is what they use in jet engines. All the other AMSOIL is merely Group 3.

Great Stuff! You can't do better than Group 4/5 Blend for that motor. Most Americans are fooled by the terms "Full Synthetic", "100% Synthetic" and "Synthetic". For U.S. made oils, these terms are just for Marketing. Many people pay for Castrol Edge and Pennzoil Platinum or Mobil 1 and don't know these are only Group 3 but they are paying Group 4 prices.
