Adele is one of Angelina's great influences and she looks up to her ! Angelina gives Adele's song a different spin and makes it her own but staying so true to the original ! You can hear the strong Adele sound in Angelina vocals ! Angelina can adapt to any singer but her sound is quite unique ! Adele's lyrics are powerful and Angelina makes them I feel more emotional and meaningful ! You should listen to Angelina's full video of this, not for a reaction, but just for 3 minutes of your own bliss, since you love the song so much. Angelina loves this song as well, since she posted a raw version on her Tik Tok a few hours after Adele released the song. Then she officially released this polished version used in the mash-up video, less than 2 weeks later. She has said in her documentary, "Angelina Jordan- 10 Years in the Making," that she is honored to be compared to Adele & Amy Winehouse. I have read in comments that Adele has said she is honored that Angelina covers her songs.

Jamie, thanks for your reaction to this mashup. The magic of music. We each have our favorites and we always need to respect each other's choice of favorite. I think the vast majority of people would agree, Adele is a top level songwriter. I never felt much when listening to Adele sing, as it seemed to me it was a strain for her to sing. Once I learned of Angelina, Adele's songs hit me hard emotionally, as I found her voice smoothly soulful and full of emotion. I am sure Adele fans think just the opposite and that is ok. I respect their opinions.

Thanks for reacting to Angelina's performance of this song, though I would have preferred if you reacted to Angelina's recording exclusively 😂 In my opinion, it is one of her best ones, along with quite a few other Adele covers as well, " All I Ask" is another one. What can we say? One has established herself as a bona fide superstar as a singer and writer of music. The other is a teenager whose vocal and artistic attributes are of another artist perhaps with 20 or 30 years of experience. The depth of Angelina's voice and with all it's soulfulness has elevated her as a performer to a level that, to most, is almost unbelievable. It is important to note that both Adele and Angelina have deep respect for one another and, who knows, perhaps there will be a day down the road a bit when Adele writes a song particularly for Angelina. Wouldn't that be something?! Jamie, keep yourself healthy and no need to explain what you are up so as to not upset anyone. It's your channel and part of the fun is to find out what you're up to without criticizing you. Angelina has about 200 songs available for you to listen to and will there ever be a pattern of the kind of music she sings you can identify with? No. Every song is unlike any other she has sung. It's crazy! Crazy good! Btw, you should listen to her sing her version of Patsy Cline's 'Crazy' on tik tok at 16 years old. YES, SHE SINGS COUNTRY, TOO !!!!!!!!!

Easy On Me Both Angelina Jordan and Adele are under the Republic Records / Universal Music umbrella, 12 hours after Adele released "Easy On Me," AJ dropped it on TikTok on Oct 15, 2021, and this video was dropped on the internet Oct 26, 2021on KZbin by AJ, and Adele has seen it. Adele wrote the song with its producer, Greg Kurstin, and it is about a broken marriage and a mother trying to explain to her son why it is happening. You have to ask yourself how a 15-year-old Angelina Jordan could do this song justice and give it the emotion it deserves? Here again, AJ takes on the impossible and makes it a classic as she always does. As usual, grandma Mery is close, and even appears in this video with AJ. Mery has been a major powerhouse behind AJ, and they would be lost without each other. One genius helping create another. Every time this girl opens her mouth and those ethereal sounds come rolling out, I lose my breath, and the tears appear. There is no one else on earth that moves me like AJ, and at 76 I have experienced the best the industry has to offer.

It’s just amazing how Jordan can change her voice to channel the artist of the song she is covering, from Billie Holliday to Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Gloria Gaynor, Etta James, Miley Cyrus, Lana del Rey, Whitney Houston, Adele, Amy Whinehouse, Lesley Gore, Michael Jackson (Heal the World), and she sings Elvis’s covers in his key. She is able to go to her happy place and hear the music she wants to sing, and after training her vocal cords 4-6 hours a day every day since she was 3 years old, Jordan is able to reproduce those sounds and sing like the artist of the song she is covering. She is not doing an impression, she quite literally becomes that artist while she’s singing, then, as soon as the song ends she’s back to being a kid again. It’s especially noticeable in her younger years.
