yes... she is VERY good. members of the band Dragonforce said themselves that this is the best cover they've ever seen of their song. she's not a 1 hit wonder either. she has several other songs she's posted vids of. But "Through the Fire and Flames" is one of the hardest songs to play on ANY instrument. look up Tina S for her guitar cover when she was just 15 years old. and I LOVE how Junna is so into the fun of playing that she has a perpetual smile while being so animated.

Junna started playing drums at the age of 15! She is probobly in her mid 20's I think. There isn't alot of info on Junna. She is a very mysterious woman and keep her info to herself. She is from Japan. I love Junna! She is to me the human vesrion of "Animal" (the drummer) from the Muppet show! Be safe Björn

Actually, I hate to correct you, but you're referring to Gee Anzalone who was not the drummer when this song was written and recorded. That would be Dave Mackintosh. Gee is the current drummer and is the one who reacted to her video. If you watch the official video for Through the Fire and Flames you can see Dave in action.

If you haven’t heard of her already you’ve got to check out Senri Kawaguchi, the most distinguished female drummer of Japan. She is also one of the youngest (at 13) to be added into the Drummerworld’s list of the Top 500 drummers in the world. She has also been featured as the cover artist on an issue of Drumhead magazine. There are also a few instructional videos by her on the Drumeo youtube channel. I have zero musical background but just watching her play so effortlessly makes me want to pick up drumming too. She honestly made me develop a new appreciation for drum focussed instrumentals and fusion, which is a completely new genre for me.

Your little one does seem to have a really sweet sense of timing, I must say. Some people have an ingrained feel for timing, others have to work to develop it. I was constructing makeshift drum kits out of pots and pans and different sized reference books when I wasn't much older than her; it drove my parents crazy (the noise as well as the battered cookware lol), but they eventually accepted that it wasn't simply a phase and purchased me my first actual drum set. It was cheap and terrible, a used off brand 4 piece, but to me it was as good as gold. When my 16th birthday was nearing my mother asked me if I preferred a used car or a nicer kit, and I chose the kit without hesitation lol I received a 9 piece set of Pearls much to my dad's chagrin...my mom was a fan of my playing, my dad not so much haha Moral of the story is keep rockin' and stay heavy! Wishing everyone peace, love, and good happiness stuff from the mountains of northeastern Alabama 🥁🤘 Edit: Drums are a very expensive instrument to play as one progresses. Heads, sticks, and cymbals are a consistent expense (just one of my cymbals cost around $350, and I had 10 😬). Recording and/or performing at live shows requires mics, mixing, triggers (if preferred), etc. and quality rarely comes cheap. But that's the price you pay (quite literally) to get the sound you desire.

Wow. Just....Wow. I loved Critters looks of concentration, even more than her enthusiasm. Much more telling. I think she'll become a great drummer with both those aspects in her repertoire. Shows the desire most. Might be a good time to show her a *Neil Peart* drum solo, so she can see that drumming can be *technical, and musical* too, not just a pounding background rhythm. . Also, some more female drummers there's plenty to choose from. I would definitely pick some *Karen Carpenter,* (I'm sure Your followers can compile some of her better selections). Karen would be something for You, *and* Critter, to enjoy. You'd get a famous female drummer, who is also the vocalist. With one of, if not *'the,'* purist voice in music...ever

Let me tell you about them: Asami (Vocalist), Miho (Bass), Miyako and Midori (Guitarists) and Haruna (Drums) who is an absolute machine on those drums and your daughter might like the star cymbals she has. I maybe late, does your child hear the music as its playing? her clap was on beat or maybe your daughter is as gifted.. You may want to enroll her early in some music school. Since the video looks mirrored you can see her pupils concentrate on the PIP (foot video) sometimes and on the main screen. You got a diamond in rough there on you lap.
