I think Roger Taylor could easily be a lead singer in any other band, Brian May as well. Like, they wouldn't be celebrated as the greatest singers ever, but they would hold their own and it would be enjoyable to listen to.

True Story: We saw Queen in 1978. at The Los Angeles Forum. This was the "Jazz" Tour. I had been in a motorcycle accident 3 months earlier, and had a cast on my right leg. My friends and I had "nose bleed" seats way up near the top row. When the ushers noticed this they wouldn't let me crutch up all those stairs. They found us 4 seats, 7th row to the left of the stage!!! Awesome night that I remember from 46 years ago, time sure does fly bye.

Queen live never disappoints Absolutely phenomenal performance, one of if not the greatest live band ever, all the members of Queen have written hit songs,Freddie the greatest frontman of a band, his vocals are stunning,Queen have performed over 700 live concerts worldwide, and were one of the first bands to conquer South America, they recently sold their huge catalog of songs to SONY for 1.2 Billion Dollars, all the members have degrees,Freddie has a degree in art and design and created the Queen logo, Sir Brian May has a PHD in astrophysics, John Deacon a degree in Electronics, and Roger a bachelor degree in biology,I attended many of Queens live concerts I was at LiveAid Wembley stadium 1985, also Wembley Stadium in 1986 twice where Queen performed two nights to over 140,000 people, also at Knebworth ParkUK 1986 where the crowd was estimated to be 120,000- 140,000 people, Knebworth was Freddie’s very last live performance ever with his band, YOU MUST REACT TO QUEENS Legendary 20 minutes performance at LiveAid 1985 at Wembley stadium it’s considered to be the best performance from a band ever, great reaction thanks 🙏

I agree with all those who have already suggested you watch the Live Aid concert at Wembley stadium. If you don't get goosebumps you probably aren't alive. I was very lucky to be at Queen's final concert with Freddie held at Knebworth. Freddie's illness was common knowledge and he looked skeletal, but it was the best concert I have ever been to and Freddie was simply superb.

Each of them were so uniquely talented and vital to the band. Each of them wrote songs and played multiple instruments. John's bass and Roger's drums perfectly compliment each other. Brian's guitar along with Freddie's amazing vocals in their live performances is second to none 👑

At 5:44 Brian had a guitar issue, Freddie took note and played the audience until Brian was ready. Roger and John (well done for mentioning him often forgot) were so tight in those days it was just amazing. This was show was recorded exactly 10 years to the day that Freddie died.

Great reaction❤, nice to see John being noticed. He rarely sang on a live mic but he can be heard and seen sharing Freddie’s mic on “All Night Long” on an earlier concert video. Roger sang “I’m in Love with My Car” two songs after this one. But take a look at “Somebody to Love” and “I’m in Love with My Car” from the cleaned up Hammersmith 79 concert. I prefer this Montreal version of STL because Brian’s guitarmanship is much more on point and in synch with Freddie’s improvs, but with Hammersmith, we get to see Freddie’s talented hands flying in a blur on the piano keys and his vocal improvisation is quite nice, and TBH, while the video quality isn’t as clear, the audio picks up Roger’s and Brian’s voices much much better. And Roger’s”Car” sounds better, the camera stays on him more from different close angles, and we can hear Freddie’s and Roger’s backup vocals clearly. The Montreal film producers were a tribulation to Queen with their demand that the same clothing be worn both nights for continuity (which Freddie defied, eventually stripping down to singing barefoot wearing only short shorts we called “hot pants” back then), and instructing the audience to be quiet - but after all that, the 1979 camera work at Hammersmith and audio were much better IMHO. Anyway check it out, even if you don’t react and welcome to the magical Queen live performance rabbit hole. And of course, you *must* treat us to your reaction to their Live Aid performance to see why Freddie is still regarded as one of the world’s best front men ever with 72,000 concertgoers in the palm of his hand who had no idea Queen would perform when they bought their tickets and over a billion tv viewers around the globe watching or listening to the live satellite feed, and Rio where I think it was 200,00+ non English speaking souls in the stadium singing Love of My Life to him. I still get a bit teary eyed just thinking about that.

@@jorgegonzalez-ll7qq Those are two songs out 200. It is true on the studio recording Roger sings a Bb5, this is not the highest note in Queen's catalogue. But that was never done live. Roger does not sing the highest notes in We Are The Champions, he also didn't do it live. But Roger did do some amazing harmonies live. Some of performances of '39 live the 70's were great. Roger lost the falsetto in 1979, Freddie always had his high falsetto which could go just as high as Roger's high falsetto.

He provided vocals for singing in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie, and was chosen by Roger personally for a queen tribute band that he was putting together after Freddie passed!!! And, Brian and Roger said that he was the closest thing to Freddie that they had ever heard/seen! He's so close, that he actually creeped Brian out a little bit! 😸😸😸 You absolutely NEED to check out his Bohemian Rhapsody!, and possibly, is 2 hour long live concert in Vienna!

Oh sweetie …. I absolutely loved your reaction and how much you loved this live performance…… your facial expressions said it all 💕. I know that you have been reacting to the albums …..and the albums are great….but Queen songs are almost always better when performed live. Freddie would say ….why pay money to see them sing a song just like the album…. If that was the case, then they could just listen to the album. Even this song that you just reacted to….many people prefer the way he sings it at Milton Keynes 1982…….both are fabulous. Now that you have heard the album versions ….. could you please react to “White Queen” live Hammersmith Odeon 1975 and “Liar” live at Rainbow 1974 ….. plus so many more. This is an absulute fantastic version. You said you only saw We Will Rock You live - then you really should watch their Live Aid concert. It's the best live gig any band ever did according to a lot of music critics.

some of the other acts were upset that Queen were so good that day it made their performances flat by comparison, I love Freddie's audience warmup

I saw them 4 times. The first one I didn't expect much cause I thought they were a studio band. Boy was I wrong. They didn't play their albums they transcended them.

Since you really like this song you now have to react to the Milton Keynes live version. Different, has a more bluesy vibe. Great reaction.

Great reaction is band where you have to hear the studio material, but you also absolutely have to see them live. Queen is like a completely different and great beast live, sometimes their live performance are better than studio versions. Freddie does sing the high notes here which is a G#5, Freddie voice just has more weight so people don't always realize it.
