Fun Fact: The female voice is lead singer Oli's wife They released a series of videos showing the writing and recording process of the song through lockdown in the UK, with everyone video chatting with each other. The music video was shot in lockdown as well, with one member even being in LA at the time. Budget and resources were limited so they had to get real creative with this vid.

Loved the reaction, been waiting for this one. The song is about the 1990s game of the same name 'Parasite Eve'. But as the song was coming together the band started to notice there was alot of similarities to coronavirus. So its kind of a dual meaning. Especially with the lyrics in the chorus "when we forget the infection, will we remember the lesson?"
@ladyrahnegames4 жыл бұрын
What's great about this, tho, is the title and song was originally inspired by the game, but it doesn't follow any of the game's story/idea really at all, BUT it does share a lot of similarities with the novel/film that the game is originally inspired by! I'm hopeful that it'll reinvigorate interest in the game so that we can get a remaster or remake, but even more hopefully the novel/film come back into world view, too! 🙏💖

The line that stands out to me the most is "when we forget the infection will we remember the lesson?". This whole virus/quarantine deal we've all been having to deal with in some capacity is a very humbling experience and we all need to learn from it. A lot of people have gotten too comfortable with how almost everything in life is instant gratification, shopping, going out to eat at restaurants and just being around other people in general is something most have taken for granted. Change is inevitable and is always around the corner and we as a people need to learn that and to always be ready to adapt. Always be smart, be humble and never take anything for granted, these are the basics thing we all need to be reminded of from time to time.
@Dusten7364 жыл бұрын

Far as the meaning goes, there’s some obvious allusions in the lyrics and the video imagery to the quarantine. That’s the main theme behind the song I’d gather. BMTH is super fire tho, bruh. It was quite satisfying watching someone other than myself rock out to this crazy song and video. BMTH is actually a pretty amazing band, lots of great beats.

as a ling time hard core fan of bmth I'm glad to see more people open to their music and style.. but the masks are from one of Oli (the lead singer) favorire animes Tokyo ghoul.. and one of tye lryic is "When we forget the infection Will we remember the lesson?" that is a eerily creepy way of looking at the covid 19 virus.. Will we remember how awful it was but that it did bring the world togethher for a truly universal fight"?? awesome response video man keep them coming !!!

The best part about this video is that is was shot on a super low budget with Covid-19 and their drummer living in Cali.. There is a video on it if you're curious. I think they did pretty good given the circumstances we are under. Great content man.

Whats amazing is the recording and video were done during quarantine... Amazing band

This song was actually started at the end of 2019, and due to covid got pushed back, so there's a lot of meaning behind it and with everything else going on in the world

BMTH has some awesome lyrics like "I cant drown my demons they know how to swim" or "You can throw me to the wolves tomorrow I will come back leader of the whole pack"

YESSIRRR 🔥🔥🔥 bout TIME you did this reaction!!! 🥰🥰🥰 this video is based on a Japanese Video Game, I believe it was an unfinished video game 🤔🤔 ion know might gotta check tape on that last part! But OLI was the mastermind behind the WHOLE vid creative wise & got a frnd from Russia to make the face mask for the video!
