A quick note on the Sahara video... The Sahara video was shot during their down time, backstage, at the various music shows they attended while promoting Scream. You'll notice that the outfits worn in this video are the same as the outfits worn during their performances on stage. Attending a music show is literally an all day event. I mean show up in the morning, leave late at night all day event. Several groups attend these shows and each one will get their own sound check and camera rehearsal and there's always gaps where stages are changed, confetti machines are reloaded and so on. All this leads to a LOT of down time for the performers. Most groups will sit around, do vlogs, read a book, play games or just in general hang out. Dreamcatcher gets bored, which leads to them getting creative and we get fed little gems like the Sahara MV. You gotta love a group of creative goofballs. I know I do.

Yes, it usually is Jiu and Yoohyeon that are the prime actors. They are the center of the Nightmare story arc that begins in Fly High and runs through Chase Me, Good Night, You and I, What, Piri and Breaking Out. Jiu is the strong one trying to save Yoohyeon from the consequences of her bad behaviour. Either way you should watch her Copycat cover to see how muscular her legs actually are. Even tho she's smol Sua might be the strongest member in the group

Sua is the one with the waist. Choreographer. All of DC's official MV's are super-polished, movie-like productions with continuing plots and special effects. This is a great special because they are just having a lot of fun.

@@thisbethor oh man i love the song. My favorite right now. The simple styling of the video makes it better. If you haven't seen it, Sero Live/Dingo has the ladies singing "Fly High" is a similar deal, just simple. I was blown away. Watch it and you will too.

Jiu and Yoohyeon are deadly combo😜 I think most of Insomnia already subscribed to Anes and watched he fangirling Dreamcatcher 😆 The mv for SAHARA show a silly side of the members which is good idea cause a lot of non fans thinks they're serious group. It's not, they're the silliest 😂😂 but don't get distracted, the song is very good itself. There's more mv like this somewhere in dc channel. You should also check out the performance video of BLACK or WHITE in Dingo channel. Just watch it in your own time. Btw thanks for decide to watch and support the girls. Yoohyeon is a goddess, I swear, she gets prettier every comeback (or maybe I just get more biased? 🤔). Also, SuA is smol™ but she might actually be the strongest member, she's always giving Yoohyeon piggy back rides and twirling the others around 😂 (I still want to wrap her in bubble wrap and protect her from the world though) Another fun fact, DC explores a lot of others genres in their b-side tracks, since you liked Black or White I recommend you give a listen to And There Was no One Left, July 7th and Jazz Bar. Hello~ Thanks for reacting to them once again~ Yes, InSomnia fandom is very warm, and always happy to help new people who are interested in Dreamcatcher. Oh i have watched some of Anes' reaction, i didnt know he was your friend haha Oh, about the term "special clip", it's just a name they use for really simple and low budget videos for some of their bside songs. There are quite a lot of them, they also release special clips of cover songs from time to time. Sahara Special clip was self made, and it's not the first time they had done it. There are self made special clips for July 7th (filmed during show champion backstage, so it's kinda a risky video to be reacting to, since you could take a strike for copyright issues) and there is also a self made video for The Curse of the Spider, but this video "dropped" as a vcr for their first fanclub fanmeeting last year, so we only have fancams of the screen lol But in general Dreamcatcher Company actually gives them quite a lot of freedom with their work. The girls compose and write songs and if the result is good enough, they will release the track (for example, black or white was written by jiu, siyeon and dami). Sua also made the choreography for some cover videos and recently, for one of their promoted bsides, Red Sun, too. Dreamcatcher also releases vlogs of their daily life quite often, and Yoohyeon had said she sometimes edits her own vlogs (she uses a lot of twitter memes lol). Oh, about Black or White genre, i believe it's some kind of funky rock, or rocky funk? hahaha Yeah, it's probably not what you were expecting from them after listening some of their title tracks, but let me tell you, that's how Dreamcatcher rolls. They keep a trademark style for their title tracks (rock + dark concept), but many of their bsides are experimental music with different genres, including reggae, r&b, jazz, trap and much more. Oh, so about who is who on the dance practice: Jiu: purple hair Gahyeon: white sweater dami: shortest hair siyeon: large jacket yoohyeon: black outfits with white details in it sua: totally black outfit Handong was in China Idol Producer during Scream and Black or White promotions, so she isnt part of any of the videos for this era. She was eliminated on the show some weeks ago, and it's currently on break with her family in china. Hopefully she will go back to Korea and join the other girls soon after she has a good time resting :) Finally, let me say... Take your time to figure out how you are gonna react to their stuff. Some reactors would just upload one-hour videos like a marathon, others would do some kind of series of videos, like a journey, reacting to one or two Dreamcatcher videos each time. It's up to you how you are gonna do it, we will watch it anyway~ :) ps: sorry for the long comment lol

@@reaKtpop Well about guides, these days "the ultimate 2020 Dreamcatcher guide" by kraayjay is very popular, but it's kinda a long video (45minutes if im not mistaken). The "a spicy guide to Dreamcatcher 2020" by multi serendipity is also popular, and it's shorter (if you prefer). The Two-parts guide "Get to Know Dreamcatcher" by Dreamworld's InSomnia is also very good, but it's kinda old (late 2018), but imo it focuses on the girls personalities so the info in there is kinda unchanging i guess, but the two parts together are about half an hour long. Fair warning: All of these 3 guides have a lot of spoilers of Dreamcatcher songs, performances and such.

Well JiU is the leader and visual, and Yoohyeon is the centre, so they are both usually the focal point of the M/V. JiU also tends to do the prechorus, and Yoohyeon tends to do the hook, so they are both in and around the centre during the chorus. Then Siyeon as the main vocalist gets most of the chorus lines and breakdowns. SuA as the lead dancer gets most of the dance breaks, Dami as the lead rapper gets most of the rap verses. Gahyeon does secondary vocals and rapping, and Handong does secondary vocals (she does a lot of the ad libs)

For this comeback Handong was filming a program (Youth With You 2) in China, her home country, so that's why she wasn't in the videos. But for Scream, there's a masked dancer that is doing Handong's part so that she has a reference for when she comes back.

Prequels aren't really meant to be watched first, else they would have been released first. You should start with Chase Me / Good Night before Fly High so you know where Fly High is building toward as a Prequel.

These videos only have six members because they were done for Scream promotions when Handong was away in China. She’ll be coming back some time soon as she was eliminated and is currently spending time with her family in Wuhan. Also I believe the genre you were looking for is “Funk”. Black or White is a very funky song.

jiu and yoohyeon are def a package deal bc of their similar height and overlapping roles as others mentioned. but also their personalities are a bit similar (they're both ENFPs if you're into the MBTI thing) so they vibe very well with each other. I recommend you to watch their cover of Taki Taki (choreo by Sua) not for any film-making analysis but for bias and biaswrecking purposes only lol

wish you'd have watched the special for black or white and got to see a closer look at the choreography for black or white. Black or White choreo is a homage to Michael Jackson- as the song's title and genre suggests. There's a lot of key points of the choreo that is very michael jackson esque if that makes sense. I absolutely love it. Probably my favorite b-track after In the Frozen off the album. Anyway, love how invested you're becoming with Dreamcatcher. Definitely subscribing! JiU and Yoohyeon are the tallest (both 5' 6'' (168cm) although Yoohyeon seems a little taller) and have slender bodies so they fit well together visually, especially with sensual body-contour poses and moves. They are also the 2nd and 3rd vocalists after Siyeon, so they often get a lot of lines close together. Yoohyeon's dancing has also tightened up a lot as she has matured. JiU and Dami have always been 2nd and 3rd dancers after SuA but Yoonhyeon seems right there with them. All of that makes JiU and Yoohyeon sort of a matched set.

Thank you for reacting to Dreamcatcher, I'm a huge fan of them so I really like watching new people watch them for the first time and see reactions. They're really awesome, they have everything from visuals to talents. I see your bias is Yoohyeon also 😂 well she has english song covers which will make you fall in love with her more. Anyway as a whole yes fly high started the story with yoohyeon kind of possessed by something and killed a freakin spider which jiu caught and that spider kind of cursed her as you can see in the MV of you and I that Jiu is trying to save her which ended up in piri where everybody got trapped while rescuing yoohyeon and it started the MV of Chase me which has the paranormal hunter or investigator and ended the storyline in Good Night where they trapped the guy for them to get back in the real world. Very great reaction video so thumbs up! looking forward for your future Dreamcatcher reaction vid 😁

Yoohyeon has by far the thinnest waist in the group. you can tell the difference between her and Sua pretty easily in the dance practice you watched since they're the only ones showing their midriff. with that in mind i find it kinda funny that you were fawning over her the entire video and that the only thing you had to say about Sua was the really weird comment at 4:23. everyone in the group is healthy. if they weren't they would not be able to do the intense choreo they do. sorry if this comment comes off as salty. Sua has literally become my favorite idol in all of kpop (especially after watching their offstage content) so im aware that im a little overly defensive

Ah as I said in my inserted graphic, the comment isn't meant as an insult or as an offense. I would have cut it out because I was scared people would be offended by it, but unfortunately, I said it while watching the video and not while I was paused so I couldn't cut it. I was just a little shocked when I first saw it because she looks so delicate and it worried me. Plus I know that beauty standards in Korea are strict so I'm generally always worried about idols health (physically as well as mentally). I wasn't paying attention to anyone's bodies in the dance practice, I was mostly concentrated on the images they were creating and on Siyeon's jacket. Thank you for being aware though, some other people just throw accusations without thinking so I appreciate it. I still hope you enjoyed the rest of my reaction though, thank you for watching!
