Hey Queen, not only are you naturally beautiful and have a beautiful family but I love this video. Lol I appreciate you queen. Do what feels right to you love. I’m locs are not perfect but they have so much character and that was my focus starting out let them do whatever they need to do. Me deciding to retwist now was just to groom them a little. Will I do this often idk I’m continuing to feel my way through this journey ❤️

I love the free parts. Mine are no where close as thick as yours but I have free parts as well. I feel like it feels so natural and grows how it wants when you free part it. Idk. I just love my free parts

Love your locs! I'm eight years in the game but I just started semi-freeforming this year and I love it! My last retwist was in June after waiting 6 months. I don't think I'll wait that long going forward because the detangling process was a pain even though I separate my locs weekly but I'm only going to retwist every 4 months going forward.

I stopped twisting mine like that, and I try to wrap the new growth around the root of the loc. It doesn't stay though. I wonder if retwisting it like that will cause the loc to be thinner at that point.

Idk honey. The land of retwisting is new to me lol but I’m learning. It definitely didn’t last but it was nice while it lasted. Wrapping the new growth around my locs is what I’ve been doing pretty much my whole journey but I still had some hair that grew out naturally so the thickness is here to stay. I feel like even if I was to twist often my hair like nope because it’s been semi-freeforming for so long.

Hi, Even thou u used oil for this twist are you still maintaining the no oiling routine & jus using the rosewater & aloe vera. Beautiful locs🥰
