@@MotorcyclingwithCarl it’s a beautiful area also route 77 in durham/guilford is a nice ride and so it’s route 79 if you haven’t rode those roads yet you definitely should!

Hey Carl. I'm thinking of buying the Seca II as my first bike, a 92 model too. What should I look out for? She has 56k km on her. Thanks!

It can be fixed but wear in the parts in the clutch beyond the clutch plates you will hear it rattling if its worn. Otherwise its a 30+ year old bike so nothing will be perfect. Take it for a ride and see how it rides. Good luck let me know if you get it.

How did you like the progressive fork springs and the shocks that you upgraded to? I did the same to my 1981 Yamaha XS 1100 Midnight Special and it completely changed for the better how my bike rides and handles in turns. I love them . I did a complete and total restore on my Midnight Special. I own 3 bikes and all 3 have the progressive 412 series shocks but the other 2 do not have the upgraded progressive fork springs. My other 2 bikes are a 1998 Suzuki Intruder 1400cc and a 1981 Yamaha XS 1100 Special.

I think the bike is a much more comfortable ride and handles alot better. Definitely worth every penny. Thanks for checking it out and commenting.
