Ok, some corrections so far…It shows Road but there are no modes on this bike. Whilst the headlight and indicators are non-LED the taillight is in fact LED. At 790mm this bike is not tall at all, just taller than the street twin and is suitable for pretty much all riders from 5 foot 3 up to about 6 foot 2. Re this or the T120, often it comes down to budget.

have noticed during the lockdown that most of the bikes passing our house have been oldies and retros, very few sports to be seen so maybe the tide is turning and Triumph seem to be leading from the front with the changes, have they got anything on the drawing board for an electric bike or bikes ? funny I did hear something scraping on the bend and was going to ask, what a lovely character the farmer was, I thought he was telling you off for making too much noise !!!
@MOTOUK13 жыл бұрын
I know i see so many retro bikes around, they are cool though😆 so yes check this out kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZTNf5yHe5tgpas yes he wanted some pegs for his steam engine i think, couldn’t understand a word 🤣

20 years ago it was all race reps and power rangers in one piece leathers roaming in packs, you don't see that any more, think they all grew up, got bad backs and ride these

I have a 2021 T100 same as the test bike. Tried the Street Twin (as it was called then) and the T100 back-to-back. The T100 is better for two up riding as it has a slightly longer seat. Both were equally comfy. Some have complained about the rear suspension but I've found it very good - especially compared to some bikes I've had. Maybe a touch under damped. Borrowed the Speed Twin whilst mine was in for service and it's a real hooligan. The extra power and premium suspension encourages a more focussed approach to riding. I was happy to get my T100 back though as I'd be riding like a loon again 😂
@MOTOUK1 Жыл бұрын
Great bikes, the T100 engine is just perfect, I found the suspension ok too, initially before I bought my T120, thought I would upgrade to the FOC Shock but I really don’t need to. Love the way these bikes ride. 👍
@PhilipBallGarry Жыл бұрын
@@MOTOUK1 agreed 👍. As we ride two up 90% of the time, adding one notch of preload improved the handling. It can still feel a little floaty at the back if I push on and encounter mid-corner bumps but I don't really "push on" these days. With a combined weight of about 21st for the two of us I still feel the power is more than adequate. I've had so many bikes over the years (too many) but there's something about the T100/120 which captures the essence of biking - a feeling I think I've forgotten over the years. It's great to be enjoying a more leisurely ride on such a characterful bike. I've kept mine entirely standard apart from a Givi rack (which is excellent by the way and it fits to the inside of the shock mount). I've a small textile bag on there which is ideal for a bike lock, ear plugs etc. Thanks again for the vids 👍

Better bike than the baby brother, not a lover of the chrome mirrors or dial surrounds , but a great classic motorcycle.

Which bike do you find quicker between the street twin and the t100? I’m honestly torn between these two bike 🤔
@MOTOUK13 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeremy, the T100 is a better bike feel on suspension and torque I think the torque is just at different Rev range and found it better through corners.
@jimbo14853 жыл бұрын
You know the street twin has the same size engine as the t100? I just say that because you refer to the street as baby brother.
@MOTOUK13 жыл бұрын

Pity did away with the chrome rims and raw alloy engine covers.....thats a very backward step IMHO.....bought my T100 in Sept 2020 new....thank god before the blackness scheme was released.

I get where you are with the chrome, we all have different tastes, would be nice if options were available there. I do prefer the black as never loved the chrome, I’d be there every night polishing it 😂😂👍

Nice reviews on the bonnies. What did you feel was better riding the t100 or street twin. I’d imagine the street twin has a little more grunt as its lighter and same engine.

How did you mount your Beeline GPS unit on the centre of the bar clamp? I have to mount mine on the left side of the bars cause the rubbers wont stretch enough..
@MOTOUK13 жыл бұрын
As they were loaners I didn’t look as the beeline’s were already fit. I guess they used the rubber band mount, mine came with longer rubber bands maybe try those. There were two sizes in the box when I opened mine.
