Position sparring is so important for progression. Id recommend going to those classes as much as possible

Just a quick question. When seated do you feel “weak” maybe a little off balance? Like they can just push you straight to your back?

I think I just still feel tense and panicky, still not used to using my feet the way i need to, in unison with my hands

@@robrolls hmm well possibly be mindful of your shoulder and hip alignment when seated. If your shoulders are forward and you hips back it will make you feel more balanced and allow you to wrestle up and/or stay seated when they press in. If your shoulders are aligned or back behind your hips you will be primed to fall back to guard. This may give you a different approach to seated guard. Maybe allow you to use your wrestling background a bit more if you want to wrestle up or just give you a better understanding of how your alignment will dictate your options not just your grips. Keep up the good work and content.
