This was really cool to see!! :D I never thought of the different skill-components of animation before, and I enjoyed seeing a bunch of different animations focusing on each of them. c:

This looks absolutely amazing! I'm applying to art schools for animation right now, what school is this?
@beansbees3 жыл бұрын
thank you! I'm currently going to MCAD, I will say though, you don't really start animating (for school) until at MINIMUM your second semester- and you have to take intro classes into a lot of unrelated stuff first. so if you are dead set on, and passionate about animation and animation only, might not be the best school. (although I think getting experience in other fields makes you a better artist- and if you're interested, even just like, personally, in other mediums, I think it's a great asset.) that being said, I haven't gone to any other schools, so it might be the same for all art schools. and unless you can get mad scholarships (thank god for that one) it's HELLA expensive. I'd imagine it would be more so if you're out of state. The coursework is VERY rigorous. I personally like it, but I'd prepare myself emotionally, mentally, physically, etc. to be busy all the time. TBH just my two cents, but I think it's less about the school you go to, and more about the effort you put in/willingness to learn (re: look up outside tutorials, toniko pentoja is highly recommended) aside from that tho, I've learned a lot, and I think overall it's a good school. we got toonboom licenses too, so that's a big win. also their other resources are really helpful. hope this helps!
