In addition to what Mark A Johnson said....puncture the oil filter at the bottom with a large nail to drain the oil before removing the filter from the engine and use the aluminum foil as a funnel.....this works great !! Awesome videos !!! I just ordered the dash plates for mine.....nice touch, gonna paint them silver as you did to match the white machines seats.

I just punch a hole in the bottom corner of the oil filter with a long funnel under it, and let it drain for a while before I screw off the filter, it save alot of oil from spilling. But thats just how I do it.

Well mine did not go as smooth. It turns out that the 13 foot lbs of torque from the factory on the oil filter was applied by big foot. After fighting to get it off and using 5 different pullers I was finally able to make a tool that worked by fashioning my own tool out of the two new ones I purchased and the old ones I had. 7 hours later I was able to change the oil on two machines. Do yourself a favor and buy a filter with a bolt pre attached to put it on and take it off. I used the K&N after this experience.

Why would you have the giant crankcase filler plug out when you're taking off the oil filter? All you're doing is inviting crap to fall into that yawning opening to your crankcase! Leave that plug in until you're ready to add oil. Also, how about how much lube went into the differentials and crankcase?
