First Start & Final Assembly - 1973 Mini Indian

This is the final episode in a series of restoration videos of a vintage 1973 Mini Mini Indian MM5A minibike. I had one of these as my first motorcycle when I was 4 years old. My dad restored this bike from a surviving Indian parts as well as Italjet parts, which is the motorcycle the Mini Indian was based on.

Beautiful job on the bike. Seeing you on it reminded me of one of the fellows I worked with on the railroad riding a mini-bike around the depot in Avery Idaho. I can't repeat the comments that elicited but it involved a monkey and a football.

@@kyanvandamme1803 The original Dellorto with some aftermarket parts. There is a relatively cheap replica that is very close to the original. We took some parts from one to rebuild the original. Look up "CARBURETOR For DELLORTO 14.12mm SHA MOPED Carb Tomos Italian 14 12 14/12 Mopeds" on ebay.

Is the audio out of sync, or is it just me? It's cool. I like that Honda too.

My audio is fine on the computer. I will check it on phone and TV. The Honda and Indian have the same size engine, actually the Indian is bored out, so is a tad bit bigger. The overall size difference is silly. I cannot put my feet on the pegs of the Indian, lol. I can ride the Honda.
