AC was at one time a very diversified company. Sad ending for a great company. Thanks for sharing.

Ooooo different flavor of tractor. 😁😉 Very nice ... uffta 500ci that's big .. Well poo that was no challenge to start, the thing dang near started itself.😒 you could have at least pulled the spark plug wires and toss a few expletives and wenches at it 😜 you know for dramatic effect...🤣😂🤣🤦♂️ Thanks for the video 👍👍

Sorry Dan, no drama on this one, she's fairly reliable 👍

There is one of these with the tail seat option sitting on a dirt mound on the side of the road in my town as yard art. Beautiful tractor you have there!

It does start nice. Batteries are always a issue. Most winters Dad had Batteries on wood in the basement in hopes that they would be good for another year. Thanks Kyle.

Usually I leave them in the vehicle/machine and just unhook the cables, it's worked well so far. Thanks Bryce

There are a pair of these in a gentlemans garage for sale in central Kansas. If I had a way of hauling them I would consider getting into Crawler collecting.

Those crawlers were made at a time when gas costed nothing. Now they are obsolete monsters but always a pleasure to see in action.
@AWDJRforYouTube2 жыл бұрын
Cool AC K Kyle...in the video, it may be an optical illusion, but the fan belts look loose? May be the source of boiling up the coolant. My dad called those big C.I. engines in 40's/50s equipment and trucks "BIG GAS JOBS" lol.
@kylechrist2 жыл бұрын
They are just a bit loose, there is no tensioner built into the system and the belts aren't even that old
@martincuracao12 жыл бұрын
Kyle, no grease, no oil-check. You're on youtube FFS 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (great vidja my man)

To me it sounded like you shut it down but turning the gas off. I do that often with the Waukesha in my P&H so the carb is dry and it sounds like that when it slowly stops.
@kylechrist2 жыл бұрын
I sure did, I always shut it down that way if I'm not going to restart it again right away
@ralfie88012 жыл бұрын
@@kylechrist I do that with my Lincoln SA 200 welder too.

Nice looking track tractor. Is that your fields where you are? That Alfalfa does look real good. Did you have any damage from the storms?
@kylechrist2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the alfalfa is my field and it's coming in nice. The storm ripped tin off from one of my sheds and uprooted a few trees, nothing too major 👍
@rudycarlson82452 жыл бұрын
She started pretty fast for sitting all winter! That is one strong engine! Did you restore this K?
@pipikr2 жыл бұрын
Nice! But the "ting, ting" of the exaust clap? makes me crazy. Greetings from Austria
@peterhaan90682 жыл бұрын
I was raised with the ting-ting sound of rain/exhaust caps at idle. I don't think I have ever seen one on any of the vintage European machines that I have watched on YT. Different mind set possibly. I would guess that most of the European farm machinery went home every night to a permanent covered spot rain or shine. Not so much here in the states. A working machine could be miles away from home and if it was lucky it would get a bucket thrown over the exhaust pipe for the night, week, month or years!
@pipikr2 жыл бұрын
@@peterhaan9068 They wasn´t very comon in Europe, but still exist. (I love them, when i was a child, because not every Machine had them.) But the metalic noise made me think something mechanical wont run correkt. Because it was not an standart noise for me, to hear on things that i have now.

Have you retired? Miss your updates.
@kylechrist2 жыл бұрын
Haha I didn't retire, just had some things that came in the way of making videos and working on toys. More to come soon 👍

I wonder what may have cause the overheat issue on Squatches blow day? This thing dose not seem to have any thermostat? Maybe it was just heavy load and not enough air cooling the radiator?
@woodhonky38902 жыл бұрын
Retarded timing can cause overheat. Someone else mentioned the fanbelts looked loose, I agree.
@bcbloc022 жыл бұрын
Probably a calcified radiator core from 80 years of tap water. Fill it full of dollar store bleach and a jug of CLR and run it till warm and give it an hour or two to cook off. It will clean it out of course it likely will clean out any stop leak in it as well so it might start leaking afterwards but if it is all in good shape it will make it like new inside and not cost much to do.
@spacemanmat2 жыл бұрын
So what’s the history on this machine? Did you do the restore yourself?
@4051a2 жыл бұрын
Nice AC did you do the restrore?
@lukestrasser2 жыл бұрын
I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t check the oil or grease it. I think you burned about $40 in gas making this video. With the heated manifold will it run on tractor fuel?
@kylechrist2 жыл бұрын
Luke, you know better, the oil was checked while charging the battery
@lukestrasser2 жыл бұрын
@@kylechrist I liked the 🔥 out of the stack. Next time , show checking the oil and connecting the charger. Otherwise we’ll think you did it wrong.

Is the K thirsty enough to drift into "gallon-per-mile" territory or is she still just inside mpg?
