Peru is a wonderful country, it has many climates and places to visit. South of Lima is the desert where there is a very famous oasis, there is also the Nazca lines. Huaraz is a very beautiful place where you can see a part of the Andes mountain range. Another very charming place for its people and landscapes is the Peruvian jungle, where the Amazon river starts, there are tours with bungalows that are inside the jungle, you can listen to all the nature even when you sleep. There are hundreds of other places like Cuzco, Arequipa, Huancayo where you have parts between the Andes and the jungle. I hope you enjoy your stay in Peru very much.

O, como todavía hace frío, un sancochado si era un domingo o la sopa del día en "Siete Sopas" en Surquillo, a unas 5 ó 6 cuadras de donde estaban caminando. Wow, esos platones con su pan campesino calentito !!!

In Peru people are very friendly and there not much ice to break to start a conversation but Peruvian food is their favorite subject…….LOL. Enjoy your trip to Peru.

Welcome to Peru, just enjoyed, as everyone else, who gave you an advice,..well me too, just be careful, don't become paranoid,..I go to Lima, and all Peru, since I have retired in 2011,..and now 2022, with my 77 years of age, I'm there during the summer time, 5 months, food is great,..I walk during the day time, back in my hotel around 10 pm, and never seen, or have had any problems, thank God,...but if you get to meet a couple locals, probably better, so you could even visit popular districts like Comas, Independencia etc.,...otherwise I say, at least during the day and early nights, Lima is no worse or better than any large South American or third world cities (over 8 or 10 million people),...I recommend you Arequipa, Cuzco, Ayacucho, Puno's lake Titikaka, etc.etc.etc.,....have a good👍😊 time, that's all what counts with careful,....saludos desde usa,....

Good video. It is a shame that most tourists are deceived that Lima is only the districts of Miraflores, San Isidro and Barranco. And worse still, that they deceive them by making them try supposedly Peruvian dishes, generally in those areas they are Americanized and prepare fusions, local creations and delicatessen, and tourists believe that they are trying traditional Peruvian food. Lima has more than 30 districts, each with its tourist, commercial, gastronomic and historical area. The aforementioned districts do not reflect the true Lima that we Peruvians know.

Quieres que conozcan otras zonas feas. Van a San ISidro, barranco, Miraflores y el centro por que son las únicas bonitas y casi seguras que hay. Y por cierto, es donde esta la mejor comida por lo general.

@@jaimexcas Triste pero, a menos que estén acompañados por peruanos amigos, no me imagino a esta gringa pareja con sus celulares modernos paseando por San Juan de Lurigancho o Ventanilla, sobre todo por su propia seguridad. No estoy discriminando pero sí advirtiendo que, si ni los peruanos estamos a salvo (de otros peruanos y ahora hasta de colombianos y venezolanos) de la agresión, menos aún ellos a menos que estén acompañados por gente de aquí mismo.

Sorry for your stomach, problably, got distracted on something, when mentioned,..carry for stomach, cipro500mg, and for bronchial..carry amoxi500mg., in lima easily you get all kinds of creams guys, for fungus, itching cortizoids, triple antibio..skin infections, good quality eyes teardrops,,...etcetc,...now one thing,..how could you guys mess "the calle de las pizzas", or Rustica chain rest,...or norkys chicken brasseries,..,keep enjoying peru🌋,....
