I forgot to note that the Huacachina small lake was completely surrounded by the desert, although being so close to Ica, it was an absolute oasis. It is in the '80s that Ica's urban area developped and increased, and then urbanised towards Huacachina. The way you see it now in Google maps wasn't like that 40 years ago. Such a pity, it was quite an experience the small traject from Ica in the desert and the, THE OASIS.

@@vipepics It surely was .. back then, actually 50 years ago, not 40, the hotels were three or four and some beautiful old houses, a couple of restaurants and that was it: a tiny urban area surrounded by the desert. And in one of those dunes there was a very small lake which dried in the '50s, La Huega.

Dear Viljami, aren't you going to watch the mysterious Nazca lines (in the desert, again)?? Have to take a bus from Ica and is relatively close. It must be absolutely hot right now, almost summertime in the coast of Peru. Maybe you'd imagine you are in Qatar, living the World Cup. And I guess you'll have to go through Arequipa, the beautiful and white city, and then to Cusco, the Imperial City. The Andes again but in such a different way: take care. Greetings from Lima.

This time we decided to prioritize more time for Cusco and skipped the Nazca day :) But yeah, next video from Cusco & Machu Picchu, once we'll have time to sit down and edit again :D
