The president gets what is called an approval score, his is low especially considering the health of the economy. Aside from that this president as an unprecedentedly low approval score when you break down the demographics to young people and minorities. These are all proof of a president that does not resonate with the county. The election is over and half the country still hates him means he is in fact an unpopular president. That is why he doesn't go to the correspondence dinner, or the smithsonian honers, nor will the super bowl or nba champions go see him. Hillary got more votes then he did, he is still underwater in popularity in this country.
