people should never get a pass for pretending to be a victim because it lessens people who are actually victims and that applies to everything, not just racially motivated incidents. it's deplorable

Ah, this sad, virtue-signalling old chestnut. I assure you nobody who has had a false accusation levelled against them would agree with you. Talk about missing the point. FAR more importantly than "people who are actually victims", it's a false accusation against somebody who is innocent! The falsely accused IS the actual victim in these cases, get it?

But you all allow for these black females and black single mothers to get a pass for pretending to be a victim all of the time. The Brian Banks story is an example. The black female and her mother that were paid millions for their lie have not been charged for ruining (at the time) this young boy future.

I just wish he would confess what he did, apologize, and try to get his life back on track- almost no one is dumb enough to believe this story, just try to fix your life and move on. On some level I feel sorry for him that he won't take these steps to fix his life. A sincere apology, truly sincere that he acts consistent with going forward, could start to heal his life.

He should have done that 3 years ago as soon as Chicago PD released the results of their investigation he should have admitted that he lied then apologized and stepped away from the limelight and let things cool down..He could have hired a PR team to help rebuild his image etc..But nowadays humility is not considered a virtue..So people double down on stupid instead of a simple " I'm sorry I was wrong..So he will go down in history next to Milli Vanilli
@MisterMooster
@MisterMooster 10 ай бұрын
@@LXCD-t9p Yes, this is all true- the option will still always be out there, but the longer it goes the less results he will get- it still would be better to do this at any time. Milli Vanilli didn't hurt anyone though, what Jussie Smollet did was so much worse- and of course the Milli Vanilli situation ended so tragically.

I am from Chicago, the weekend this occurred had an Arctic blast, so the temp was 20 below normal for that time. Even that and the questionable Maga hats theory wasn't the MOST questionable thing to me, the most questionable thing was that he was GOING OUT in the cold without a coat to SUBWAY at 2am. He is rich and famous and it was extremely cold , especially at 2am, so why would he GO OUT to get food at Subway? We do have doordash, grubhub and other food delivery apps in Chicago, WHY wouldn't he use those? Furthermore, although not a big subway fan, most subway's that i have been to are not open at 2am, they usually close between 9-11pm in most cases. Nothing worse in this country than false allegations that can ruin your reputation

I don't know where you live at in Chicago but there's a lot of Subway locations that are open 24 hours. Juicy Smuttlet was living at 340 North Water apartments by Navy Pier. The 24 hour Subway that he claimed to be going to is on 511 N. McClurg Ct. which is a 5 minute walk across the street. Now with that being said, walking outside without a coat on off the lake front with the temp 20 degrees but feels like 10-14 degrees with the wind chill is insane. Also, who's outside walking around in that quiet area waiting to commit a hate crime in the freezing cold at 2am? If that was the case, couldn't they just drove 10 minutes to boys town to commit their hate crimes?

@@disguiseddv8ant486 Well, I said I am not much for subway, so I don't go looking, most of the ones I have seen close at "normal" hours. I do remember them in Vegas at casinos being open 24/7. But, again, why wouldn't he just call grubhub or something?
