This renegotiation of contracts before they are over just because someone got more money after you signed is bullshit. I would tell Tyrek look You have 2 or 3 years left in your deal. We aren’t giving you a different contract. Then I would bring out his contract and point to his name on the paper and ask Him “is this your signature?” And when he says yes I would say ok well honer that contract. Or I would tell his agent this. And if he says well Tyrek is going to sit out I would say cool well If he doesn’t show up To play this year then I don’t have to pay him. And then he will Probably let say something like ok well Tyrek would want to be traded. And I would look him square in the eyes and say “No”. There will be no trade. He plays for us or he doesn’t play. Management of these teams need to play hardball With these guys. It is starting to get like the fucking NBA events if someone asks for a trade they just trade him. I would also tell Tyrell’s agent that sure we will trade him for 2’1st round picks right now. So go find someone who will give that and You got a deal otherwise he can play and make 25 Mil This year or he can stay home and make 0 dollars.

Why does there have to be a limiting factor at all? There is only 1 super bowl winner each year and 31 losers. Perhaps the "limiting factor" is simply facing a better team. It's hard to top leading the league in passing yards and being top 5 in nearly all meaningful stats as a QB.

That’s the problem with the whole Tua narrative. Majority of the people who have an opinion don’t watch our games or just watch Tua specifically. Because those games we lost against the better teams it just wasn’t Tua. Waddle was put on a island, and Tyreke was rarely open due to double teams and the run was getting stuffed. McDaniels play calling has to be better and use more than just the Hill/Waddle button like it’s Madden.

Tua is the best QB in the league to run this offense. The issue is and always has been the pass protection that Tua gets every year. Imagine if Tua had the 15th best pass blocking offense line instead of the 32nd. Tua is not a 1 read guy. The O Line makes him that because they are hot garbage.

Julian, I'm actually going to say prioritize Tua and here's why. Teams where their best players are WRs have arguably only won once & that's the 49ers with Jerry Rice. Even then, you could argue that Joe was still better than Jerry. It's a toss up at least. I think Miami would have a better chance to win with Tua going forward (assuming he improves) and a speedy replacement for Tyreek than with Tyreek there with a possibly bad QB. History says if a team's best player is a WR, you don't win. Moss, TO, Chad Johnson, Odell Beckham Jr didn't win that way. Julio Jones was arguably just as good if not better than Matt Ryan. They didn't win. 7th round pick Skylar Thompson and a old, washed Teddy Bridgewater? Cmon now, they obviously meant someone more capable. Its not inconceivable that you can bring in someone like a Baker mayfield type QB and have success at a SIGNIFICANTLY less price. Baker has a somewhat similar year stat wise but on a worse offense than Tua had. If Tua is "the engine" then maybe its time to consider an engine upgrade, because that "engine" seems to struggle going uphill in colder weather. Tyreek hill is ABSOLUTELY the engine of this offense. You take him out of the equation the past two years, there is ZERO chance this team looks as good as it has. The dude has given us 3600 yards the past two seasons FFS.

Its everything when it comes to overall success. Health has been a huge factor late in the seasons losing key guys. Tua has gottem better every year but he does need to go off script more and kinda put the team on his back when times get rough. Kind of like josh allen, mahones, even cj stroud being one of those guys in the future. Tua needs to accept a fair deal now or he may be getting franchise tagged in the near future and probaly not with the dolphins in the next few years potentially. So many routes it could go and i like tua but im with you and the organization and im not paying tua more than lawernce or goff. Its a business at the end of the day and they need balance on the team and paying tua to set the qb market is not what the dolphins need right now. We are on the outside of a sb window barely hanging on and lightweight rebuilding so a rebuild in the near future could be a possibility and that means at qb as well. We shall see.
