I couldn't help but to laugh my ass off when Trump posted "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" the other day... He's so incredibly predictable and pathetic. Taylor is one of most versatile artists in history. So far she released 10 albums and each of them has a specific unique recognizible sound and aesthetic. Sometimes it feels like if completely different person was behind each album that´s how versatile she is. Taylor writes all of her songs and she tried quite every genre that possibly exists: all kinds sub-genres of pop, country, folk, rock, rnb, trap, hip hop, americana, EDM, christmas... She can do it all. She´s a mastermind and absoluty fantastic performer. For her current tour called The Eras Tour she´s performing for over 3,5 hours 45 songs from 10 different albums. She´s a beast i recommend to check more.

@@GOTGamescan 100% confirm that she is a hell of a live artist. We were blessed to be able to see her in Atlanta in April, and we still swoon over how amazing she was. She is "versatile" because she writes exceptionally melodic songs that (usually) have standard chord progressions. It is very easy to frame songs like that in different genres; they sound great however you deliver them. She writes a lot of her songs on an acoustic guitar with open chord voicings and then comes up with a banging melody to fit. IMO that is her exceptional musical talent - melody. Many of the songs on Reputation were written this way on acoustic guitar, but sound completely different with a RnB-elctro-steet production. From other albums, songs like Forever and Always and Shake It Off are just 3 chord songs, yet have the most infectious and brilliant melodies that make them so memorable.

It’s very important to her that everything is done 100% live! Another thing worth mentioning is that she writes all of her music and most of her songs she writes on 1 instrument, whether it’s piano or guitar bc she always wants to make sure that no matter what production or mixing goes into it, she still wants to be able to strip that song back down and play it acoustically, which we all LOVE her acoustic sets, there’s an acoustic set in all of her live tour shows. I liked your reaction - seemed genuine. Your shock comes because you haven't followed her career from 14 yo country singer to 33 yo pop global icon! Never apologize for being genuine ❤

I also get teary whenever anything is Powerful. I can’t quote some things without needing a moment. Taylor is one of the artists that brings me to that point

Welcome to the TS rabbit hole! 🙃 loved the first time reaction! So many people judge Taylor based on what they’ve seen in the media and when you dive deep into it, she’s nothing like that. Her music is ever changing. She started as a country singer and has gone on to do just about any genre of music you can think of. She is a brilliant lyricist and writes all of her songs. I recommend I did something bad and Don’t blame me from the reputation tour next 😊 Also, her music videos are amazing! Especially from 1989-now. She directs a lot of them.

I’m a 65 year old woman and was like you. Listen to a few songs then I listened to an interview. Then the republicans winged and I took a deep dive. All I can say is I’m a SWIFTY. Plus watching her and Travis’ love story I am hooked. They are our royalty. ❤️your reaction was just great fellow swifty!

She has come along way from her country days. Like 20 years 😊. This was her last tour as she is currently on her Eras Tour and it is even more exciting and amazing. If you can find any videos from that you will be blown away. She sings for over 3 hours straight every show. Sold out worldwide for the concerts. You will also be blown away from some of her songs for sure. I recommend her Bad Blood video for your next reaction. She also has many songs with other famous singers that I know you already like, so look into those as well. I’m a Pentatonic but we honestly are nowhere near as large as the swiftie community is. They are unbelievably large worldwide and they could probably move mountains.

That was my 1st Swift concert - the opening was exactly as you see it in the video - it was incredibly epic and the best concert opening I'd ever seen. Let the Games begin...

She is a force! Her lyrics are raw and visceral. I cry while smiling until my face hurts every time I watch her perform-and I wouldn’t classify myself as a diehard Swifty-but I have a 25 year old daughter and lived in Nashville when Taylor was emerging so she was part of the fabric of my kids childhood. We saw the Red tour in Nashville and I finally watched the Eras doc and felt like a proud mom watching her grow into her own and then some. I think she’s the Dolly Parton of this generation. Fun to watch your conversation. 😂

Goosebumps! I love love love watching reactions like this to Taylor’s live performances. Her recorded stuff is great, but that woman absolutely shines when she’s on stage. 🌟

I think for newbies - especially guys, start them with reputation. It's an album that is a grabber. And for me it was though I am an older woman. I love rock and seeing these videos first had me looking and sampling more
@Muton230 Жыл бұрын
There is definitely a reason this is the only woman who has won the Grammy for Album of the Year 3 times and in 3 different genres at that. There is a ton of her content to check out, Don’t Blame Me from Rep Tour or the rock version of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together from the 1989 tour are both very fun performances

Today a friend drove me to the train. He was like i saw u always listen to Taylor Swift. I can play u one or two while i drive you to the train. I made him play ready for it and blank space. He said immediately after the songs he will need to download those. 😜 i told him to listen to exile and You are on your own kid on the way home then later he can watch the live of ATW10mv. As he also said its shake it off kinda music she sings and he likes that not. I was still in the car when exile started. He paused it and restarted it when i left the car saying he wants to hear the lyrics 😜 i think he’s already getting to that rabbit hole too 🤣 hes a guy of facts. Knows nothing about Taylor. Once he will read about her who she is and what ki da awards she won and for what he will get into it even more. Woman of the decade and now setting grammy record by winning album of the year 4th time like no one in history ever yet… how she changed Spotify and the music industry with her actions… i cant wait to meet the friend again on march 9 and see how hes doing 🙈

This just may be one of my favorite Taylor reactions that I've ever seen, simply because you were so emotional. I've seen this performance so many times and still cry like it's my first time watching it. There are other performances of hers that do the same thing to me, too. Out of the Woods from the 1989 Tour is insane. Getaway Car from Rep Tour is electric. Don't Blame Me from Rep Tour is a religious experience. She's just such an incredible lyricist, artist, and performer. Truly a music icon.

One other thing that I also love about Taylor is that she is so versatile. She is an artist who appeals to so many fanbases because her albums are all so unique and different. She can be a bad ass pop-diva, and she can also just tell a story with her piano or guitar. Those performances are truly some of my favorites. Check out an acoustic performance of the song All Too Well - preferably the original 5 minute version, prior to the 10-minute version that she released on her re-record of the album "Red." And bring Kleenex. She is completely captivating through her lyrics and delivery and it tugs right at the heart.

That feeling you get in situations like this I get too, it’s called Collective Effervescence. Getting overwhelming emotions in a crowd or something that many ppl are experiencing together. Even if you aren’t there, you can still feel it. It’s a characteristic that almost all empaths have.

I respect the hell out of Taylor Swift and love a lot of her music. Out Of The Woods came at a hugely difficult moment in my life facing deployment and divorce and being a single mom and I knew I more than liked her. But to add to this, seeing men fall in love with musical journeys that tell our emotional secrets is so edifying. I became a woman when it was Alanis Morissette and Taylor is that for a generation of women while men have precious few male artists who are this vulnerable and open with them as artists. I'm thrilled Taylor helps these men realize they deserve so much more from their musical peace and essence!! ❤

Okay. I used to gag about Taylor swift. Meantime my son who is 7 years old starts to play her songs in the car all the time and now I’m completely obsessed with Taylor Swift! I can’t stop listening to her music and I really admire her! Who is this possible!! 😅

Do more Taylor and the Swifties will come, especially given this first delightful reaction. Taylor makes you Feel Things. She makes all of us Feel Things. Her stage presence and love of performing is incredible, but the story telling is gonna hook you. Definitely do more from Rep - Don't Blame Me, Look What You Made Me Do and I Did Something Bad. But Folklore and Evermore or amazing, lots of ballads and more acoustic folky. Midnights is pop, as is Lover. Make sure you always do Taylor's Version when there's an option or the Swifties will come at you 😅 subbed and can't wait for more@

I’ve been watching Taylor for years now and every album that comes out every single song gets better and better she sings from her heart and soul she’s a true song writer and that’s what a song writer is about they not only take their life experiences and turmoil to paper but everything else they see going on be it a family member a friend their fans ! I remember one of her concerts while she was singing she had to stop several times to express her appreciation on how a lot of her fans were wearing outfits that she’s worn not just in her concerts but in her everyday life! She pays attention to her fan base she listens to her fan base and that’s Taylor for you I also remember when she was a teenager playing her guitar singing country music that’s how she originally started out but she also loves others but this to me is her finest 🥰I think I was around 40 little younger when I started watching her sing I am now 61 years old and still a huge fan of Swifty and I am so very happy she has a man in her life not a boy but a man that can handle her popularity because he is just as popular they make a beautiful couple 🥰

Haha…you weren’t ready for it!!! I have to say..aside from the release of 1989 Taylor’s Version, this reaction has been the best thing I’ve seen this week. It’s SO genuine. THANK YOU JAMIE FOR THE SUGGESTION and for opening the door. Great reaction! Listen to some more lives from this tour. Otherwise, I trust Jamie to continue with the suggestions. Welcome to the rabbit hole, future Swiftie! We’re ready for it. Subscribed and waiting!
