She did have a cowriter she worked with a lot early I her career, Liz Rose. Liz has said Taylor mainly worked with her because a lot of the Nashville songwriters Taylor would try to write with early in her career would try to make her follow certain songwriting rules or say things a certain way and Taylor was very stubborn about saying things the way she wanted to. Liz said she’s was more of Taylor’s editor/sounding board than anything. You should listen to Our Song, it’s a banger she wrote for her 9th grade talent show and it made her the youngest person to write and record a #1 country song.

She had never even met Tim McGraw but was a fan and it worked for the song. There’s a cute video of her first CMA’s performance and she’s doing Tim McGraw and comes over to where he and Faith Hill are sitting. She is adorably nervous and they seem charmed. Later when she was a huge star she did Highway Don’t Care with Tim McCraw & Keith Urban (who’s there for his amazing guitar solos). There’s an awards show performance of that as well.

Kenny Chesney is who you're thinking of.😊 He signed her to open for his tour but, beer was sold, so those in charge wouldn't allow it bc she was so young.😕 BUT, he paid her anyway!🥰 That allowed her to spend $ & really invest in marketing her music, more concerts/ venues, etc.

She sang this live at an awards show with Tim & his wife Faith Hill sitting in the front row, 10 feet from her singing it. Then she walked over & introduced herself to them. Soooooo cute. They did not know one another prior to that. She has some cute ones from her early career. 'You belong with me', 'love story' or 'White horse' are all great. I love all sides of Taylor.

Mates…This song is by far the best strategic marketing campaign for a new musical artist of all time, I believe her father was her manager at the time…This song was the reason why within weeks of getting played on the radio..she was invited to be the opening act for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Soul 2 Soul Tour…I took my 10 year daughter to one of the very first Taylor Swift concerts…and she loved it..Great memories…Good Luck Jjh

Somehow, I didn't see a notification for this, but when I do see one from you guys (like I just did for her "Fortnight" music video), I go check if I've missed any of your Taylor Swift reaction videos. This "Tim McGraw" music video certainly is from a simpler time; no big budget. Yes, she's always been a good actor, especially with her awesome ability to make facial expressions...I think she would have made a A-list actor. Hollywood would usually be using apple boxes for her co-stars. I think that would be a good alternate universe, but this one is much better! 😊

This was her debut single She had no production team when she came up with the title Tim McGraw because she was not yet a signed recording artist when she came up with the idea (in math class) The title, which turned out to be good marketing, was dumb luck She also didn’t know Tim at the time. Her first encounter with him and Faith was when she sang it an a country awards show. There’s some clips out there that indicate that she was initially contracted as a songwriter but she really wanted to also perform her own songs and was finally able to do that, but still well before she was even 20. Her whole look in this video is very much what was in at the time for female country artists in terms of big hair and heavy makeup and skimpy outfits regardless of the age of the singer.

And here we are still in love, and our love has grown deeper over time. We have 2 wonderful sons aged 12 and 20. And are all so happy. Our motto is no matter where we are, as long as we’re together, that’s home. I hope Taylor can find her “home” too, and I’d be so happy for her if it was with Travis Kelce. He seems so sweet on her and I hope it lasts forever! Cause I think (since I don’t know her) that’s what she wants. To be contently married with kids.
