First Time EVER Playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild!!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild First Playthrough/ first time ever playing this game/ my reaction to first time seeing Zelda Breath of the Wild playing Nintendo Switch gaming! I've wanted to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for years, and this was one of my most requested games. Luckily, I had the chance to finally play this Nintendo Switch Legend of Zelda game :D So here's my first playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! I haven't watched any The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild content, so it's a blind playthrough where I don't know what Shrines are or what happens in the game, or when the game ends, so you might have some nostalgic memories seeing someone play through The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the first time and exploring all of the areas!
A little backstory: I just want to give a huge thank you to you for watching this video, it's because of you that I got to play this game and make this video. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game that I've been wanting to play for years (just like Super Mario Odyssey and Minecraft, both of which I've played somewhat recently for the first time ever on this channel), and it's because my KZbin channel has been doing so well recently that I got to finally give this game a try! When I was in school, I was hyper-focused on school and that's all I would pay attention to, and I missed out on a lot in life including a lot of video games that were absolute gems. It's such a nice feeling of huge relief to finally get to play a game like this, it's such a nice experience to have some time for yourself to do what you want, and I'm really looking forward to making some videos about testing/ modding this game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was a blast and I'd love to play more of it :D Thank you so much for watching, and thank you so much for all of the support!

Never have I clicked nor woken up SO fast in my life! You’ve finally started playing Breath of the Wild?! I saw the notif, and thought “That’s neat”, but the moment I saw your name, I flipped out! It’s so great that you’ve finally started this game after so long! Breath of the Wild is my favorite game of all-time as of late, and the first full Zelda game I’ve ever fully played (I did play some of Ocarina of Time and the first game beforehand. I got it for my birthday back in 2017, initially not knowing what I was getting into and feeling uncertain of how the game was, but I quickly got hooked once I got used to it, and lo and behold, it’s now my favorite game ever and I STILL play it to this day! I’m definitely excited to see your playthrough of this game, and I hope it becomes a staple, because I have been waiting for years to see you play BotW, and I’m very excited for Tears of the Kingdom next month! And, of course, since this is blind, I won’t blame you since I used to not know how to play either, but practice makes perfect lol

Very interesting first playthrough of the great plateau. Can’t remember ever seeing someone go through their first two shrines without a single weapon, or make it to the mountain shrine without some sort of cold resistance. Or go the entire while without eating anything! Very entertaining.

@@ZXMany Honestly, in my current play through, I did something similar. I had no idea that I could pick up the stick and use it as a weapon, so I just attacked the enemy in the first shrine with a metal box. I never found any cold resistance, so I just tried to use my torch as much as possible, and I never ate until I fast traveled back to the Shrine of Resurrection. Also, I love your videos, they’re so entertaining!

I love this game so much, I’m super glad you are playing it now, tears of the kingdom is coming may 12 super excited and glad you did it before it came out, great job zxmany, I have to admit, your the best channel I ever have watched!!!! Tip: there are 4 Devine beasts, each one that you defeat will help you kill Ganon, there’s water light ganon, fireblight ganon, thunderblight ganon the hardest one of all, and windblight ganon. There was 4 champions that died in the fight 100 years ago, yes it sounds weird you were asleep for 100 years, Mipha part of the Zora contreled the elephant Devine beast, revali part of the bird people I forget there name who controlled the bird divine beast, urbosa part of the gerudo who controlled the camel divine beast, funny thing about gerudo town: you have to dress up as a girl to get in, and finally durok who controlled part of the gorons who controlled the lizard Devine beasts. Also if you someone and there name is traveler don’t talk to them there part of the yiga clan, you’ll find out who those are more in the game. But the champions that died there’s different versions of them from different times that help, sidon brother of mipha, rigu with urbosa, yunobo with daruk, and teba with revali. And I have to admit that it took me 2 years to do the magnesis shrine, not a joke. Also there is a breath of the wild randomizer mod watch mr a game he has videos on that, and what that is it’s random but go on me a game’s channel to see what it is it’s really fun and I would love to see you do it! I hope those tips help you, great job zxmany. Also you can save.

I've been waiting for you to play this and I'm so happy you finally are. This game is one of my favorites. To answer some questions you had, This games arsonal of glitches is perfect. Not so big the game is unplayable, but not so small the game isn't fun to mess around in. Some of my favorites include Windbomb, Fall Damage Cancel, and Moon Jump. He only says "Are you Chilly?" when you're naked. You can beat the game entirely naked. I'd know because I did. The Monk's names are actually anagrams of the Dev's names. For example, Oman Au is Aonuma. You literally guessed the amount of shrines perfectly. I'm pretty sure the Mario 64 connection is a Coincidence however. Using bombs is the best way to chop trees. You go faster if you press X while climbing. You burnt the Frog because you need to cook it with a horn or something to make a potion. You cook multiple things by putting them all in at once. There are multiple classes of Weapons. Single-handed Weapons are balanced and allow you to hold a shield at the same time. Spears have great Speed and Range, but lackluster power. Dual-handed Weapons are very slow, but very Strong. Yes, you get metallic Chests with Magnesis. The Number by the Item is its power. It hurt my soul so much seeing you go hungry and complaining about why you're never healed despite picking up two steaks. You can move a horse manually if it doesn't want to cooperate by holding ZL and using the joystick.

Zxmany here are some tips I hope these are helpful. To flurry rush option 1 back flip if the enemy has a weapon that hits horizontally by x + joystick down make sure that the enemy is going to hit you to do option 2 if the enemy has a weapon like a spear that moves horizontally do a side hop to do that use x+joystick left/right when the enemy is going to hit you then press y (4 times with a claymore) (7 times with a sword and 8-9 times with a spear. To jump attack press y and x make sure to press x first. To sheild surf press x then a.

Fun fact: BOTW was supposed to be a Wii U game going to release in 2015 but then eiji aonuma decided to delay the game to make the ultimate Zelda experience and it was delayed so much in ended up as a duel release, so these are Wii U graphics, but on the bright side, the switch version runs better which is why people decide to buy the switch on release to play the game they’ve been waiting to play for years Edit: 1:09:33 that’s why square bombs exist
