Have fished off a few rock jetties here in New England but never done any Pier Fishing. One time back when I was traveling for work I did fish off the old causeway that was replaced by the Skyway Bridge on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Met some really friendly folks on that trip and caught a few mutton snappers which I gave to the guy who I never met before who asked me if I wanted to fish and let me use one of his rods. Good times Lance.

I would have given them to him too. Pier fishing is something I’m still trying to figure out. I can always catch them from the beach, but it looks like the pier is just hit or miss sometimes..🤣🤣..Thanks for coming along Don!!🎣🦌🍀

so I've never really had much luck fishing on piers (my lack of experience does not help). but I always enjoyed watching people fish there. as long as you guys has fun together, then it's all good.

Me either, I haven't figured out piers yet, but I'm going to just to have something different in my fishing tool box. I was as fun to joke and talk to people as it was fishing that day. We'll be making a return trip here soon to see if fall will change our luck. Thanks for coming out Tom!!

I've only fished off it a couple times, only got one video up on my channel. I love fishing there, just dont like paying for the parking lol
@mullisoutdoors Жыл бұрын
I would say the parking is the worst part, between paying that huge fee for park and the limited parking. It's the reason I would rather just go fish other islands. St. Simons= Free, Jekyll=$8 all day...Tybee Like $50 for the day!! Man y'all had a much better day then we did also, I think it was just an off day because nobody was catching much of anything. Thanks for coming along brother!!

i threw out a live whiting on a shark rod one night there. i didnt think anything was on it so i decided to check the bait. 😂😂 i died because i had a 5in blacktip shark on a 10oz circle. my whiting was 8in it was gone and the baby shark had took its spot somehow 🤣 i died laughing didn't think that was possible

It always amazes me at what one of those things can scarf down, even stuff that leaves you scratching your head as to how they even got it in their mouth..lol.. Thanks for watching!!

Do you get a lot of wind there at Tybee Island? It's crazy down at the S. Texas surf. Has me rethinking where to live!
@mullisoutdoors5 ай бұрын
It’s usually just a nice breeze, but it can get ridiculous when a storm is moving in. GA has a pretty nice climate all around though. Thanks for watching brother!!
