First time French Adventure - Part 4 Chateau Chanteloup to Folkestone

In our final part of our adventure we travel to Chateau Chanteloup, our favourite site of the holiday.
We then moved onto a campsite near Calais to allow us to have a short travel distance for our tunnel crossing at 11am.
We have one last bonus video to share very soon, which will be detailing our journey, toll costs, campsite costs and fuel.

The campground is cool and beautiful! A bell ringer (smile), It is so nice they have hosts! WOW, lanterns and fireworks. It is good you didn't have the dogs were the fireworks were. Oh wow a pool. Brilliant videos of your adventures. We have a T4 and love it. We've travelled all over Europe and this year was going to be Gorge du Verdon, however all the Eurotunnel delays the week before we were going put us off. We spent a brilliant 2 weeks exploring the South Coast with perfect sunshine. It looks like you guys enjoyed your French adventure however, like you, we were shocked how much the motorway tolls are and add up to! In 2015 we were nearly 500euros from Calais to Monaco and back. We made sure that we stayed off the main motorways on our next adventure which was great as you actually see more, it doesn't cost you in tolls and the roads are not that much slower! You can't beat life adventuring! 🙂

We loved it, with having only two weeks and trying to cover so many miles we went in the tolls this year. It was €220 on the tolls for us. I think next time we won’t have such ambitious plans. Thanks for watching 🚍
