AKMU is actually well beloved and popular in SKOREA and whenever they drop music they usually top music charts. It’s kind of in the same lines as their fellow label mate WINNER. Where they’re super talented and popular in SKOREA, but internationally they’re not as popular as other artists/groups. However, that is not their focus in the first place..they’re not out there to be the most popular artists worldwide. They’re just happy to release music and to still be doing it for almost a decade. AKMU and WINNER both debuted in 2014.. AKMU debuted in April 2014 and WINNER debuted in August 2014. These two groups is legit GP favorite.. GP meaning GENERAL PUBLIC. AKMU is called The Nation’s Siblings for a reason and SKOREA fell in love with them since KPOPSTAR season 2. WINNER as well..2 members placed top 4 in survival competition shows and then as a group/team in YG’s survival program WIN: WHO IS NEXT..where they won and got the name WINNER. They won by the public vote aka viewers vote and it was a close vote too! The other group turned out to become IKON and they got to debut as well in 2015. But yes… AKMU isn’t your typical YG artist…they’re very unique and have their own color and identity. Chanhyuk actually already served his military duties 3 years ago LOL. He also has done solo debut and album and so did his sister Suhyun..she released a solo single and has done multiple projects like opening her own KZbin channel, radio dj, acting, and appearing in plenty music related shows. But it is YG entertainment after all.. so there is going to be hiatuses.. AKMU’s last comeback was July 2021. So yeah….HIATUS… but they’re topping charts again with this song and their b-side right now. So they’re still popular and relevant in SKOREA.. mind you this isn’t just fandom streaming their music. It’s the normal everyday SKorean who is actually listening to their music and enjoying it.

It was just Chan-hyuk who was in the military (from Sept2017 - May2019) so he's been out 3 years now!! Females just volunteer (not mandatory like male conscription) and Suhyun didnt go into the army. Chan-hyuk was in the Marine Corps and his song "Marine Triumph" was chosen to represent them!! I'm a big AKMU fan - one of my favourite songs is Suhyun's version of "If I Leave" from the BeginAgain show... give it a listen, it's mesmerising!! This song is just quintessential AKMU !!!

I am glad that you like AKMU's new song. I've seen a lot of reaction videos from foreigners, but this is my favorite. All of AKMU's songs were made by my brother Chanhyuk. The brother and sister appeared on an audition program and won there. AKMU's songs come in various genres. This song is similar to the title song of the first album, 200%. If you like this song, you want to listen to the song 200% and Give Love. My favorite songs are "How can I love the heartbreak, I love you" and "Falling down". I don't know which of their songs you'll like better. But I want you to react to AKMU's song. I appreciate you because I enjoyed watching this video.

The brother, Chan_hyuck is so gifted for writing and composing the song. All of their albums are written and composed by him. His vocal is wonderful. Not to mention the sister, Suhyun’s lovely voice. They both are fair hell… You need to listen their song with lyrics.. just crazy..

AKMU are incredible and the brother Chanhyuk writes and helps produce all their songs, he returned from military service 2019/2020 i think and the sister with the stunning voice is Suhyun. Day 99 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!
