Hey all, just a head up! This was recorded early during our reaction journey in February when our recording setup was still progressing and we were dealing with some latency issues. This is why we did not have two separate headphone outputs (which we have now and will have on 95% of our reaction videos already recorded and ready to be uploaded!)

That is Alan's wife in the video, and his daughters, as well. This song is biographical, if you will. He and his wife went through a really bad stretch at one point, and their marriage almost ended. But they came together, and vowed that their relationship was important enough to save, and they are still together today. Alan Jackson is one of the good guys, as we say in the South, he's a good ole boy!

I hear ya. I’m 66 and married over 40 years and none of it easy. The older you get the more people you lose. In just this last year I lost my only 2 best friends, my nephew and even pets. Yet a couple months ago my daughter had her first kid, a little girl and my daughter became a totally better person.

My all-time favorite Alan Jackson song is the one he wrote, immediately after 9-11..."Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning." He performed it for the first time, (live,) at the CMA Awards show, a few months after 9-11. If you check it out, bring tissues. It really makes you reflect on what the world used to be, and what it desperately needs to return to.

At my oldest daughter's wedding, I made a special request to the DJ. He played this sing for me. I danced with my wife to this, she was crying on my shoulder by the end of it. That was 7 years ago. This December, we'll renew our vows after 30yrs. And this song will played.

Amazing how music can be interpreted different ways. My dad and uncles chose this song for my grandmas funeral as my grandpa was also dying. They chose it since they had been through the ringer together for 50 some odd years. I think of the day at the church the last time I saw her almost 20 years ago, and I think of my current relationship with the mother of my daughter, as we still are going through the ringer and love is dying.

Alan Jackson is a great American singer & songwriter who blended traditional honky-tonk & mainstream country pop sounds. He has so many hits such as "Don't Rock The Jukebox", "Here In The Real World", "Wanted", "Chasin' That Neon Rainbow", "I'd Love You All Over Again", "Someday", "Dallas", "Love's Got A Hold On You", "Midnight In Montgomery", "She's Got The Rhythm (And I Got the Blues)", "Tonight I Climbed The Wall", "Mercury Blues", "(Who Says) You Can't Have It All", "Little Bitty", "There Goes", "Who's Cheatin' Who", "I'll Go On Loving You", "Chattahoochee" etc.

I love how he uses the mandolin so wonderfully in most of his videos...its just beautiful...just like his songs...wholesome family oriented songs about real life...about the life most of us secretly dream ours would or should be like...its a shame the world today no longer takes the time with things going at such a fast pace to take time to enjoy and notice....things that would make a difference in the world are being erased...things we should take time for like family and simple moral values....maybe all of us should start thinking about all of this on a daily basis instead of everything bad.

This song is about their lives. They had trouble early in his career & split for a short while, then came back together & have been married over 40 years. Love the clips of his family. If you have not seen it, you must see his song he did in the first days after 9/11. Friggin' amazing. It's mellow like this, however he also has soem great 'fun' music. "Five 'o'clock somewhere' & 'Chattahoochee' are two great examples.

Alan is such a great songwriter and performer so I love a lot of what he does but what’s so special about this song to me is how it doesn’t candy coat the struggles people often go through. No one said marriage and raising kids is easy but man is it worth it! The song mentions how the start was hard and how life threw them some curves, which happens. Also, how they’ll break each other’s hearts and hopefully bend but not break the marriage. How having kids can teach valuable lessons to the parents who have to let go of so much of themselves and put the kids first which often brings the parents closer even though the job of raising kids is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things they’ll ever do. It also talks about how our perceptions and values change as life moves on and how ultimately we’d do it all again, the struggles, the hurt, the broken trust, the rebuilt trust, the joy, and the love. It’s a masterpiece and now that I've been married for 20 years and have two wonderful kids this song means so much more to me. My favorite songs by the icon Alan Jackson are Remember When, Livin’ on Love, Where Were You, Small Town Southern Man, I’ll Try, Here in the Real World, Drive, She’s Got the Rhythm, The Older I Get, So You Don't Have to Love Me Anymore, Monday Morning Church, and I Can't Do That Anymore (recorded by Faith Hill).

Alan Jackson is pure country and country tradition in song and life. He is 64 years old.. stands 6' 4" and winner of multiple awards including 6 CMA, inducted in the Grand Ole Opry, and Hollywood Walk Fame. Alan Jackson was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease in 2011. "I have this neuropathy and neurological disease," said Jackson. "It's genetic that I inherited from my daddy. There's no cure for it, but it's been affecting me for years. Charcot-Marie-Tooth is a hereditary disorder that affects the nervous system, causing progressive loss of muscle tissue and loss of sensation in the arms and legs. Try Alan Jackson's song "Good Time"

Their song STAY is a simple bit emotion filled song that she wrote during a messy divorce and yiu can really see her strength in this song. Dutchcoors I'm Alans age and have followed his career since the early 80's. Alan Jackson wrote this song based on "real life" moments. The videos in the earlier life were of them, their children and their lives as they get older together. The words have meaning if you know their lives together. this verse - " life was changed, disassembled, rearranged We came together, fell apart and broke each other's hearts" I'm guessing is about Alans earlier infidelities, but the song has a fairy tale ending as they were only apart for a short time because of it. As none of us are sinless we must remember even famous people need the Lord's forgiveness and as you look at Alan and his wife's relationship one can only come to the conclusion, Alan was redeemed as they have put the old behind to only remember the good memories of life, children and all of their blessings. Denise Jackson his wife wrote a book in 97 " Its all about him" detailing the ups and downs in their marriage. She wrote - "The greatest blessings in my life have come out of my worst shattering - his betrayal and our separation were what led to this new, passionate love relationship with God and also led to us being able to have the kind of marriage that we both always wanted but just didn’t know how to have." In the song " the sounds of little feet, brought back the love we found trust Vowed we'd never give it up Remember when " is referring to the later years as they moved on watching their children grow up. The picture of the older couple celebrating their 50th was Alans grand-parents. He spoke about them and their parents often being brought up in the southern Gospel church. Alan is no doubt in the top 10 of all-time best country writers and entertainers. He's #1 in my book because of his morals and principles. God Bless you Alan Jackson, family and your walk ahead.

Jackson wrote the heartfelt song as a tribute to his wife, Denise, who he met in 1976 at a Dairy Queen in his hometown of Newman, Georgia. Twenty-four years after their marriage in 1979, the song serves as a reminder of the love they shared that day. That is his wife and kids in the video.
