Angelina is a huge fan of Elvis and this was certainly a tribute to him. Angelina posted this video within a day of the Elvis movie being released. She has met with Priscilla Presley and we all hope Angelina will have a song in the upcoming movie about Priscilla.

That's her grandmother's antique store. She's used it several times. The two little girls are her cousins and the younger teen girl is her little sister. If the first vocal note doesn't trap you, you're dead.

One of Angelina’s trademarks is that she respects and pays tribute to the original singers in many of her videos. Yes, the outfit, the guitar, the antique shop, and Priscilla’s beehive hairdo all pay respect to Elvis. And even though the vocals are entirely different than the upbeat original, we hear and understand those lyrics in a way Elvis never tried to do. Angelina doesn’t compete with the original artists-she honors them, but we get 100% Angelina. Yes, watch that Whitney cover. You’ll hear something different from the original, but pure Angelina with the fullness and richness of her lower register and her power.

The pianist Rob Christie (music studio director of Republic Records distribution of UMG, two-time Grammy winner) changed the musical arrangement and Angelina changed the vocal arrangement, but she didn't change the lyrics. Angelina changes the lyrical structure starting with the bridge and gives the song a different meaning than Felton Jarvis and Mark James , Angelina version absolutely fits the lyric better. Once again, many people don't hear and understand the song until Angelina tells the story. 👣 💯 *AJ* 💯👣 The producer Felton Jarvis from Elvis Presley cleverly covered this *Mark James song from 1968 in 1969* , Elvis' last #1 hit in the US and #7 of his most successful songs. Felton Jarvis took the original country arrangement completely from Mark James and pushed the song with more speed and additional instruments (wind instruments, violin etc.) and a spectacular backing choir (in the studio version).😊

Power & Pure Velvet Perfection! This vocal arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt in collaboration with a stellar team including Rob Christie & Mery Zamani her Grandmother. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentine’s Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. I think that makes them cousins not nieces. Full Black Leather Bodysuit, the guitar from his concert in 68 and the hair a homage to Priscilla Presley. Yeah! She can bring tears to your eyes. I base my interpretation on my knowledge of Angelina's journey from an 18 month old little girl singing a "classic" of music history 'I Will Always Love You' . She has been listening to these classics on repeat on YOUTube since then under the guidance and inspiration of her Grandmother Mery Zamani. She has been performing these classics since her first time in studio at 6 yrs old.. She has continued this journey through her 1st introduction to the world with her "Classic'" 'Gloomy Sunday’ and following with her many performances at her many Jazz Festivals, TV performances, Concerts, and charity events, studio recordings and practice sessions at home accompanied or not. The location in the Antique store represents these classics (like the furniture) of another era. To me she portrays wonder at all these classics surrounding her. as she has travelled this road. Her tribute to Elvis is at her present age, today, each stage represented by her cousins and sister and ending with Angelina herself on the couch still admiring all this history surrounding her. The beautiful rendition of the song, and other tributes are in the leather outfit, Guitar and hair a tribute to Priscilla. 🔥🔥🔥♥👣

First words out of her mouth and you knew this would be amazing;) but you can say that every song she sings! That was extra special though! I believe it a family friend's shop. She has used it a few times at least. Yes, Lisa Marie hair (not Amy), it's an Elvis song, black jumper, guitar, etc and tribute to him so it kind of bugs me when people watch and say Amy lol She's plays at least 4 instruments.

I'm a sub and check your channel regularly. A few things (not all) about this music video you may not know. Youngest girl: cousin Aurora, middle girl: cousin Athena. Both are her uncle and manager Michael Astar's daughters. Oldest girl is Angelina's sister Juliette whom Angelina adores. Grammy winner and Republic Record's VP Rob Christie on piano and Angelina is playing a Hagstrom Viking guitar owned by Rob Christie. Elvis played this guitar during his '68 comeback. Angelina's videos always have call backs, subtle references, objects of interest to the song, tributes, etc. I still catch nuances I had not noticed before. After 7 years non-stop as an "angel", Angelina still surprises me in some way every day.
