They usually pre-recorded the screams and growls for their live performances since they dont have a metal screamer. To this day, we still dont know who the hell did the screams. Some said they distorted the girls voices to make it sound like screams and growls. The only notable growler they had was Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) for their album edition for the song Distortion.

Yeah the soft moments in this song are so weirdly effective. One of those things where if you had described it to me I would never have expected it to work, and then you hear it and it is exactly what the song needs. Also when the audience shouts "Kiero!" back to her I get chills every time. I'm always excited when reaction channels get around to this one because something about this particular performance is really special.

I think what makes this so special is that this performance is the quintessential BABYMETAL experience. You have the spectacle of the staging, the heavy instrumentals, the choreography, the crowd interaction with all three of the girls (the "Ki-er-o" for Su, the jumping and smoke cannons" with Yui and Moa), the transitions between so many sounds, and of course the vocals. Everything about this performance is what BABYMETAL is all about. If you've seen their performances on the various end-of-year shows in Japan the past couple months, they look like they knew something is missing, and I think that's because they didn't have the crowd. The fans are so factored in along with the rest of the other things I mentioned before, that if you take any one of those aspects out the performance feels completely different.

Nice & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。In this video, you heard the crowd shouts some words at 06:55. The words are "ki-e-ro 消えろ!" meaning "get out of here!". If you search in KZbin with keywords "babymetal 2019 forum headbang" you will find videos showing Su-Metal directs her mic towards 17,000 American audiences and they shout the same Japanese words on the cue at the Forum, LA on Oct. 11, 2019. Of course the same shout occurs wherever they go. AND ... I managed to get 4 tickets out of 6 concerts scheduled this month and in February at Budokan. So I am keeping my fingers crossed for stable COVID19 situation.

So remaining 4 shows of BABYMETAL may be held in September at the earliest. It is great if we get together at the entrance gate to the venue.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 I can't say for certain on this song, but the musician listed in BABYMETAL credits as TAKEMETAL (Takeru Youda) did growls on the second album. He also co-wrote the music for 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' on the first record. The full on "Bleghs!" are always on a backing track. Of course that's Su live with "Hedo-ban-gyaaaaa!!!!!" near the end. They didn't scream "We are BABYMETAL!", because that wasn't the last song. It may have looked like the finale, but it was just the third song of a five song encore with the live Kami Band. Guitarists that night were Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Leda Cygnus, with BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums. I was thrilled when they brought this song back for the 2019 tour, and I finally got to hear it live at the LA Forum. The official video for this song is a fun one. Worth watching. Su was (kind of unbelievably) only 14 when the music video and single for this song were released. She had just turned 16 the day before this December 2013 concert.

Nice video man! Not only the insane production and the skill of the band is what you should look up when watching a live babymetal performance. One more thing is that the WHOLE CROWD IS A PART OF THE PERFORMANCE. Crowd interaction was the most evident thing you'll see in their live performances. The song is about a girl in her 15th birthday attending his first metal concert. For my suggestion, I would like to recommend you their song Amore. This has some insane drumming, a quick bass solo and beautiful guitar riffs (but these are not in an intro like RoN, they're part of the song). Strictly speaking this is an arena, not a stadium size venue. Some is actually really good at editing, it's only 9000 fans. Seeing Babymetal live is the best ! I've been to multiple shows. An amazing live experience you will not forget. Babymetal always doing what shouldn't work, but they make it work. The gong is also a reference to X-Japan's Yoshiki who did that at shows. I recommend BxMxC if that is what you meant with 'BCM' ?

Vocalist SU-METAL's singing ability is amazing.Her voice doesn't shake even when she sings while dancing in the chorus.That's the great thing about her.Personally, what I want you to watch is a live video called Distortion on BABYMETAL's channel.I look forward to your reaction. I've had the pleasure of seeing Baby Metal live in Detroit. They guarantee high energy, audience connection, and brilliant performances. Their style and performances have been inspired by other Japanese metal artists such as X Japan whom I highly recommend. Aside from X Japan, I would recommend Malice Mizer and Dir~En~Gray. The latter I've seen live as well and they are also amazing.

Okay,okay okay. I gotta admit, Ive been avoiding this band for ages. My first listen about 5 years ago, i hated it lmao. Something has definitely changed.
