For Rosé’s On The Ground, I took it as although she made it so far in life, she was humbling herself. The two lyrics: “Worked my whole life to get high to realize everything I need is on the ground.” “And they say I’ve made it now, but I figured it out, everything I need is on the ground.” She’s worked so hard and everyone says she made it big and she’s surrounded with materialistic things with all this success she achieved, but she realized that life isn’t about that, it’s about everything she had on the ground (before she was high/successful).

Some people were disappointed with Rose's songs because they didn't feel they showcased her vocals enough. They didn't get the point. It's not about her vocals (even if they are amazing) but more about her songwriting skills and showing her vulnerability. With Lalisa, some have already complained that the choreo doesn't look that hard when Lisa has recently said in a Thai interview she wanted a choreo that would be easy for fans to dance to. She has also said that her other song, Money has a dance break and that may be the song that has the harder choreo.

On The Ground is about fame and herself. She always wanted to be grounded. She still wanted to be Roseanne Park because being Rosé means losing Roseanne. Rosé is the famous star but Roseanne is the normal person where she has freedom unlike Rosé some things are limited especially her time with her family and friends. In the end, she realized she can be Rosé without leaving Roseanne behind. The love and support from her family and friends really matters the most for her, not the popularity she has right now. Lalisa song scream LISA CONCEPT & diversity but people said it's a 'no direction' concept. Her solo song literally representing herself like we can see many side of her beside being the fierce, badass, and swaggy Lisa that we usually saw her when she is in Blackpink. I love the idea of her include Blackpink's name where she wanted four of them to shine together with crown and Thailand's culture in her songs. I thoroughly enjoyed them. But for a solo debut, there's not much meaningful stories in both of her debut songs. Lalisa broke records not bcuz of the songs but bcuz of the artist. It doesn't change the fact that the songs are lacking in story telling and meaningful aspects which are important for a debut song. Anything lisa put out will break records. At least produce one song that have meaningful story to tell like how jennie's solo talks about self empowerment and independence ; rosie's solo talks about cherishing those around you and not get blinded by money and success. The MV quality is nice but its all over the place without any proper sequence and story telling, which is understandable bcuz the song don't seems to have a deep meaning behind it. So its hard to make a proper sets together that make sense. It's one of those songs that can only make it bearable to listen on repeat if you're seeing the MV bcuz the MV is very flashy and lisa performed it exceptionally well. I am not going to talk about choreo as she said she made it easy so other ppl can learn easily and dance along. Its very thoughtful of her. At the end of the day, yes, the songs are successful and break records left and right thanks to lisa being popular. Doesnt change the fact that we didn't get to see a different side of lisa from her solo debut. Imagine one of her songs talks about something else other than her being cool, swag, badass and rich, I think it would be even more record breaking and more people would be able to relate and more people will love her song.

In Solo Jennie picked out all 21 of those outfits and the dance she does in the first chorus is a freestyle! I love how each of their solos represent each of them so well. I love how Rose is talking to her younger self in On the Ground and the scene of her floating above the roses is the most beautiful shot ever 😍. And then Lalisa giving us vocals and fire rap and her Thai traditional inspired outfit and headdress and the temple scene. So fire! And Lisa on a pole 😱💀 I forgot to say I also prefer Gone. It just showcases her amazing voice so well! It's beautiful and the mv her acting skills are chefs kiss!

Not a blink but I used to listen to them, For me among 3 solos, I love solo by JENNIE, it's delicate beautiful or what should I say lyrics are also meaningful,rap on point, vocal on point, visuals on point, it's mysteriously beautiful, so catchy, somehow sad, somehow hopeful. I don't know but SOLO holds really different emotions. I didn't knew Jennie is/was most hated idol back then but I loved her Solo. And I hope people will not hate a talented people. Bcoz in my stan group too, my bias is talented and he is hated so much too. And recently I found that JEnnie and Him are most hated female and male idols😭😭

I feel like every solo song of Blackpink, represents so well the members, like "solo" it's just like Jennie it has that badass and elegant vibe that Jennie has, and those powerful vocals of her. With Rosie, It felt so personal, like she was telling HER story, how she worked so hard for everything and now she realizes that she doesn't need all that, she was looking for something else no money or fame, she just need music. And with Lisa, she even say that she wanted to do an easy choreography bc she wanted the fans could do it and make kind of TikTok trend; also, Lisa's solo it's so her, like you had all the different sides of Lisa, and don't you think that every scene of the mv of Lisa has a bit of every Blackpink song? I think she was telling her story in a different way like she make references to all bp songs.

I think I like Jennie’s solo the most. It’s cohesive, it doesn’t sound like 5 songs mixed together and it’s feels like HER (probably cause she also wrote the lyrics). Then it would probably be Rosé, cause again it feels like her. The only part I dislike is the chorus cause that thing came outta nowhere, it’s too noisy in comparison to the rest of the song. Kinda fucked up the song imo. GONE is my absolute favorite, gorgeous vocals and very emotional 😻 I’m conflicted about Lisa’s solo. The MV was great, the song itself is weird. I get that they were trying to showcase her diversity but it’s like 5 different tracks mixed with each other, the only parts I like are the chorus and the last rap verse with Thai culture aesthetics. The previous rap verse was unnecessary in my opinion, the gun and Flintstones lines kinda cracked me up ngl 😂 As to Money.. I’m expecting a banging choreo, but the lyrics left a lot to be desired. Don’t know who wrote that cringe, but they could do much better cause it’s Lisa we’re taking about. Maybe if she participated not in just styling and choreography I would feel more connected to her solo. Who knows.

Yeah, jennie is one of the most beautiful kpop idol out there, she even on a first place choosen for the most wanted face features from plastic surgery doctors. I really like all of them solos but i feel like jennie’s solo is more iconic, the dance also went viral every kpop idols covered it and dance to it as well, the song played in every stores, streets and cafes in korea at that time too
