Aw man Bloodborne is one of my absolute favorites of all time. Ludwig the Accursed/Holy Blade is such a banger on this OST Also yeah, FromSoft usually uses Latin-sounding nonsense languages for their choir parts but in Bloodborne and specifically these tracks from the DLC have the choirs written in actual Latin and they tell the stories of the bosses they represent in this kind of fourth-wall-breaking Greek-chorus way. Just a masterpiece I could go on about this game for hours

Also this game is absolutely still playable on ps5 and ps4, along with the rest of the game series. Demons souls, dark souls 1, dark souls 2, dark souls 3, bloodborne, sekiro, and elden ring are amazing plays if you have the patience.

Living Failures from Bloodborne next!

One of Fromsoft's best examples of good intentions taking you to dark places. In keeping with the story of Bloodborne, the lyrics convey a plague of beasts and the use of 'holy blood' (sanguine sanctus) to achieve their goal. Unbeknownst to Laurence, the holy blood was the source of the beast scourge. You definitely hear that this is a holy mission with tragic consequences. This and Gherman are my absolute favorite pieces from FromSoft. There's too many good tracks in these ganes so maybe that'll keep you busy but I would personally recommend: Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame (Elden Ring) Scadutree Avatar (Elden Ring) Divine Beast Dancing Lion (Elden Ring) Mohg, Lord of Blood (Elden Ring) Title Theme (Dark Souls 3) Twin Princes (Dark Souls 3) Midir (Dark Souls 3) Nashandra (Dark Souls 2) Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin (Dark Souls 2) Gherman, the First Hunter (Bloodborne) The Hunter (Bloodborne) Mergo's Lullaby (Bloodborne) Ludwig, the Accursed/Holy Blade (Bloodborne) Credits (Bloodborne) There's tons more than just those. But either way, you're in for a treat with FromSoft.

If you are planning on playing the game I would absolutely subscribe and turn notifications on, however there are some fair warnings to be given about this game and I hope they dont disuade you. First things first, Bloodborne is a "Souls" game a genre of which Dark Souls belongs to and a genre known for extreme difficulty and zero hand holding, if you wanna learn about how to defeat a boss or how to find certain things and people you need to find them out yourself which to me is all part of the fun, additionally the difficulty most people are threatened by it but I promise once you get the mechanics down its not too difficult. Just know that death is your friend, everytime you die you learn and all you gotta do is get back up on your feet and keep fighting no matter what. Last advice, to know about the lore of this game its best to keep reading item descriptions and listen to dialogue properly. Also treat the world as if it was a real world dont just treat it as an rpg with NPCs whose stories end the moment you leave them, their stories are as rooted into this world as yours is so visit a few of them at their locations from time to time.

i love bloodborne so much. one of my absolute favorite games. easily fromsoft’s best game and the old hunters is one of the best expansions ever. the only reason i ever bought a ps4. i highly recommend it if you don’t mind a steep learning curve and brutal difficulty. also if you wanna hear more i recommend ludwig’s theme (also yes you can play it on ps5)

bloodborne as a game is as in depth and complex as the songs make it sound, and it is as "serious" about making you feel as the songs make it sound, so it wants you to care to get into it even at the start, meaning there is constant friction and with it struggle, but obviously, how else could a thing be fun if not with struggle

Fromsoft tracks mirror the backstory of the character it is about. Considering the Bloodborne OST was recorded as live orchestra, I suggest the following: Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, Gehrman the First Hunter, The Living Failures, Ludwig the Accursed and the Holy Blade, and of course Bloodborne (SIE Sound Team).

Bloodborne is currently playable on the playstation. There is a PC emulator that is mostly in a playable state(although i wouldnt recommend doing it yet). If you have a PS now account its free to play although you need to pay for the DLC, which is where this track comes from. For other songs from bloodborne, id recommend Ludwig the Accursed/Holy blade, Lady Maria of the Astal Clocktower, and The first Hunter. The fromsoft genre does produce a lot of good OSTs although my favorites come from Darksouls 3.

You can get Bloodborne digitally on PS5 and it is playable. As for recommendations while I'd have many OST's to recommend from all the different Soulsborne games I'd recommend listening to Ludwig's theme from Bloodborne considering you've already heard a track from Bloodborne's ost.
