His name is on the wall in DC. If you like this video, then you will definitely like the video to the song, dancing in the dark. He puts a person on stage from the audience that you will recognise. I won’t ruin it for you. It’s amazing how many people thought that this was a patriotic song but if you listen to the words it was anti-government to do with the Vietnam vets coming back and how that badly they were treated. Song was based on the experience from a disillusioned Vietnam Vet. It was released in 1984. After the Vietnam War, there was a lot of anger directed at the returning soldiers. They bore the brunt of the blame from the Nixon administrations screw up.

I'm sorry friend, I can't watch this one. It's one of my most hated songs of all time. LOL. I know I'm a rare one for that opinion. I've never been a Bruce fan. My MOST hated song of his is "Going Down". He just has so many songs, to me, that repeat the same shit over and over and over again. I do hope you liked it, but I can't watch, to find out.

And he was heavily involved in the No Nukes movement. So I blame Springsteen for our gas prices and global warming. No nukes but ridiculous CO2 emissions. . One thing I always appreciated about U2 was that they dropped a similar image once they were multimillionaires. Bruce is now worth $1billion but would have you think he still helps out at the garage fixing flatbed trucks. Meanwhile he is really hanging out at equestrian events where he supports his daughter.
