You won't believe how good they are, no matter what genre. And if you hear one of their songs and think "I don't think I like that one," just give it a second listen and it will somehow become a new favorite. I once thought "I don't think I like their ballads" and I couldn't have been more wrong. And once you learn about them as people your mind will be even more blown. They are so funny, kind, and sweet. And absolutely authentic. Get ready to enlist!

“Introduction to the 7 Members of BTS (2021 update) by Ida S” This video is PERFECT for learning and appreaciting each of the members. Some are recommending like “documentaries” like the Asian Theory, which are also good but those tend to be more focus on the jounrey of BTS. Lol! I told you you'd love this song because you're so impressed by their dancing. You are fast becoming my favorite reactor because you are making me remember all the same feelings you're feeling for the first time! If you like dance bops, these are MUST SEE: 1. Not Today 2. Dope 3. Fire 4. Dimple and Pied Piper Live Performance (no m/v) for the sexiest dancing You also said, " They were smooth as butter." Well, there is a song that has that line, it's their English language hit, Butter. It's the longest running Billboard 100, # 1 hit of 2021. They were #1 for 10 or 11 weeks in a row and it was knocked off #1 spot by another of their own Billboard #1 hits, Permission to Dance. They are the only band EVER to do that, replace themselves at #1 with another song that also debuted at #1. They have five #1 Billboard hits: 1. Dynamite 2. Savage Love Remix with Jason de Rulo 3. Life Goes On ( only non- English song to get Billboard #1 since Sukiyaki in 1963!) 4. Butter 5. Permission to Dance They have broken every record on KZbin: 1. Most simultaneous views for a debut. 2. Most views in 24 hours 3. Quickest to 1M views on KZbin, etc 4. Most videos with 1B views (six) After breaking KZbin records with Dynamite, there was literally no completion left, so the only records they can break are their own! They have broken records by the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Adele, Celine Dion for most records at #1 in a year, most albums sold, fastest sold out concerts, most album pre-orders, etc. They are such awesome dancers because they have been training since 2012. They practiced up to 16 hours a day, at the beginning. They debuted in 2013 and had a hard time in Korea, because their company was small and almost bankrupt. ARMY is very protective of them because they went through so many hardships and were tested so badly by the music industry. That's why we're so proud of them that they achieved what they did They came from very poor backgrounds, literally nothing. You should watch, A Beautiful Life Goes On, by Asian Theory and From Nobodies to Legends. But really, first watch, Room Live Festa 2021. They showcase a medley of their songs, over the year. This is the quickest way for you to get a feel for their music. As you can tell they do many genres. Metal is the only one they don't do, just about. You'll love their other non music videos to get to know their personalities. Run BTS, In the Scoop. They also do much philanthropy and have spoken at the UN about their collaboration with UNICEF to end world youth abuse. They're as awesome as people as they are artist! Love that you get them! Borahae! I purple you!

We'd love the introduction videos, I recommend - *THIS IS BTS | Introduction to BTS* (by xCeleste). It doesn't go in depth about the members, but it's about the group as a whole. Their motto, their reason for creating, and why we love them so much. *The Most Beautiful Life Goes On* (by TheAsianTheory) for the company's and group's backstory and how each member was implemented, and their full growth as artists in the industry. For each member's professional background, check out - *An introduction to the 7 members of BTS* (by Ida S). It tells you about how involved they are in their music production and their positions/responsibilities in the band. For a personality introduction, I suggest just going with the flow and discover them slowly as it's best not to judge their personalities on a surface level ^^ You can watch as many introduction vids and we'll still happily watch along. Watching you get so excited and surprised brings me so much joy! As for WHAT'S NEXT, there's no shortage of options, that's for sure! I thin it really depends how much of your time and channel you want to devote to BTS. ARMY are an enthusiastic bunch (understatement lol), so don't feel pressured by the barrage of suggestions, take the path that makes you the most happy. Things to consider: For every song that has a MV, there's also a making-of video (titled MV shoot or shooting) and a studio dance practice showing the choreo in one take. Occasionally there are multiple MVs; sometimes the alternate is an all-choreo version on the MV set, or for Black Swan there's a contemporary dance company version (no BTS in the vid) set to an orchestral version of the song, and ON has a cinematic MV that honest-to-god is like a movie. And then there are performances! Every title track will have multiple epic live performances, and usually there's one extra special performance at an awards show where they change up the performance in a dramatic way. There's often also a dance practice video for that special performance. There are also behind-the-scenes videos called "episodes" that show the preparation for live performances and little interviews with the guys discussing the project. And lastly, there are often video shorts called "Bangtan Bombs" that show random or silly down-time moments on set. All that to say, you could spend a week just on the song ON before moving on to new music! And here's a playlist just of ON content if you want to go that direction: kzbin.info/aero/PLNJUZRWaB9b5lEsZqpx4SAxI2kS74JZ-0 But if you're more excited about hearing new music, it's TOTALLY fine to ignore the bonus stuff! And of course you can always watch stuff on your own, but know that ARMY will absolutely join you on the ride no matter what content you watch or how long your reactions are. Oh and for songs without MVs (which we call b-sides), there are still sometimes studio dance practices, and there are always live performances. You can usually find live versions with fan-added subtitles (though some sources are better than others; not all translations are great). Lyric videos are another option, but our fandom is picky about those. Some channels used bad or rushed subs, some don't list proper credits, some monetize in shady ways, etc. These are channels I personally feel good about: Moonlight 52 Hz, BBTS9717, Dial 6137, af taehyung, Zaty Farhani . For new music, here are some I'd recommend for your early days: BANGERS: Fake Love DNA Not Today Butter (2021 smash hit, one of their three all-English songs) Tear (rap line song, no official MV, watch the live at Wembley with subs) Airplane pt 2 (Latin beat but sung in Japanese!) I Need U (this 2015 song really put them on the map!) SOFTER SIDE: Film Out (a ballad sung in Japanese) Life Goes On (about pandemic life) Spring Day (this is an emotional fandom fav, there's heavy but important backstory you'll want to learn through an explanation video after watching this MV) Have fun!! And you can always ask questions. 😀

I'm discovering BTS thanks to your reactions and as happy as their music makes me, your absolute joy is so infectious I can't help but smile at every video.

You should also check out their "Run BTS" series. You'll get to know them individually a lot more; like their personalities, their friendship and just the essence of BTS. For songs, I would also say: Mikrokosmos, Butter, Dynamite, DNA, Fake Love, My Universe... the list is endless.

Loved this reaction!! There are behind the scenes as well as separate dance practice videos for almost every mv!! Also what a lot of people tend to do is they read the lyrics of the song first and then watch the mv, or watch the mv multiple times if that helps 😅😂

The style in black swan was a type of contemporary dancing and it’s so beautiful,it’s so unique how they do everything, and we see how much progress they make and it just keeps getting better and better each time i listen to them.I went from likening 5 songs to liking 54 songs and i’m still discovering more.Give them a chance, listen to them and it will honestly change your view on them and will definetly change your life.

Hahahahaa! That was a great reaction! How refreshing! Been an ARMY since 2018, seen and read so much toxicity around BTS and people wishing for their downfall, but videos and reactions like these makes me truly happy. BTS have an amazing discography, all they want to do is put out good music, as you deep dive you'll find out how profound these talented guys are and many Easter eggs in their music. So seeing you enjoy their music although you're a heavy metal fan is awesome!! Thanks and appreciate your reaction!! 💜

Keep going, great energy and attention to detail! Do You! (also a song by RM). There is so much to do, stay with their M/Vs, once you finish them, then move on to their live performances and solo works. Next options: DNA Fake Love Idol Airplane pt2 Butter Boy With Love Save Me (was done in one shot) Blood, Sweat & Tears Dope Fire And more...

I love your reaction...your reaction is exactly my reaction when I discovered them...I was moved to tears by many of their songs and believe me, I have never experienced anything like this in my life...and the fact that they are so sincere...humble. .they are next level for me ..I didn't think there were such stars...

OMG! I love watching your reactions!! We told you this was the best next song!! They are so talented! I found them at the beginning of last year and that was it for me. Jungkook was singing the solo part of ON. He is amazing! You should listen to some of his covers! For the next BTS song to review, I would suggest Fake Love and then DNA. As a side note, part of the reason they have so many fans, besides their ridiculous talent, is because of how they much they do for their fans. For example, Jungkook did a 2 1/2-hour long VLIVE (on his birthday) with his fans. The first hour, he composed a song for the fans using lines he received from the fans. The rest of time was a concert where he took requests from fans and sang those songs for us. WHO DOES THAT????? Amazing. Love them!

TIP: watch the videos through ONCE, just to take it in, then add lyrics, then listen to it a 3rd, 4th or 60th time…NEVER GETS OLD! BTS NEVER GETS OLD, their versatility and diversity is BEYOND the NATURAL!

What's so cool about this MV is that the production crew used drones for some scenes in this. Plus too, BTS released this song the day after Jhope's birthday. Oh yeah, I'm gonna predict that Hobi will be doing a Vlive for his birthday next week for his birthday.

Since you mention if BTS is real good at live stages, I recommend their live performances such as Korean music award show MAMA 2016 through 2020 and MMA 2016 through 2020. NPR Tiny Desk live was Absolutely amazing. MTV and BBC , James Cordon Stephen Colbert , Jimmy Fallon shows are all good .
@jillian23542 жыл бұрын
You are correct good sir, there is NO other band like them. They are the full package!! Loving your reactions so far! *They use drones a lot for their camera work. Here's the link for the behind the scenes! kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnXGZ6d-nL2jbpo There's also an actual music video for ON, Kinetic Manifesto is a public declaration of movement using Body motion or Dance, percussion instruments or Marching band accompanied with sound and visuals all packed into a modern-day visual which is a Video.

I have been waiting for you to get to this MV('ON'Kinetic Manifesto)! I fell in love hard with BTS through this song, however I sorta backed into discovering BTS through the person that choreographed this video(She was the first person you saw close up in the video). Her name is Sienna Lalau(she and her crew-The Lab- you may have seen or heard of the from World of Dance) she is from Hawaii and works out of L.A. She was 19 years old when she started working with BTS on the comeback special video Dionysus(with another extremely talented choreographer Andrew Elam on that song). She and her group also worked with J-Hope on a small solo project he did called Chicken Noodle Soup. But that was how I backed into learning and falling head over heels for BTS and happily never looked back! Also when you can look into some of the underground work that RM and Suga have done in the past before BTS. Sorry this is so long winded, but this group honestly opens a person up in such a positive way you want to keep spreading the love. Thank you for looking into them AND BlackPink for that matter, my 11year old daughter thanks you for that one as well.

You are making sense 😉. That is what most of us felt in our initial reaction to BTS, I'm literally blown away by their precise & intense choreography, lyrics, music and stage presence and they cannot be boxed in one genre bec their discography is diverse. What sets them high up is also bec they write and compose most of their songs, they are humble people, kind & generous. And you noticed the messages in their lyrics, they have actually helped a lot of people who are facing depression and anxiety. For some of us they are our lifesavers. As for your plan to watch an introduction to the members, Simone gave good recommendations in the comments for you to watch and react to and I promise you the Army (BTS fandom) will watch it with you 😊. Hope you enjoy your dive into BTS.

They are as much powerful on stage live as much as they seem in their music videos. They are absolutely insane and that is the result of their passion for their art. They put it their all in and more. If you're keen on watching them practising then you could probably watch their music video first and then jump right into their dance practice videos next. Their intro videos are a good start to get to know them but that'll be only a scratch on the surface. The amount of content they record and upload is INSANE! So yeah, good luck on your journey!!

Let us see the intro with you! Thanks for giving me a smile as you fall down the BTS rabbit hole. I really enjoyed your reactions. If you want a one cut music video of theirs Save Me is great. Thanks for such an enthusiastic reaction. This is my rabbit hole song/MV! It has so much that still makes my heart race after all this time, Tae's fierceness with the hair and face tattoo, JK's bridge and jump/spin, Jin's styling (love that jacket), all the raps, Yoongi's face after that spin in the dance break, Jimin's body roll at the end, the dance break, the camera work, the choreo, the unexpected change ups in the song, the backup dancers, the drumming, the setting - so, so much to love in one MV. Welcome to the wonderful world of BTS.

I absolutely love your reactions 💜 I can't wait for the next one 🤩I would love to see your reaction to the introduction of BTS. You asked if they had any hard rap and songs like those usually consists of the Rap Line ( RM, J-Hope, Suga ) So Rap Line songs that go hard are : UGH, Cypher part 1,2,3 & 4 , Ddaeng, 2nd Grade, Ma City and loads more. If you would like to hear more beautiful vocals you can check out the Vocal Line ( Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook ) Songs like : The Truth Untold, Zero O'clock, Dimple, House of Cards. I really believe that their live performances will blow your mind so for a first live performance I would recommend BTS MMA 2019. One more thing I think you should just aware of is that all the members have solo songs and some even have whole mix tapes but I think you should check them out once you've learned a bit more of the members. That's all for now. I really hope you keep loving them just as much as ARMY does. 💜 Enjoy the adventure ✨

Loving your reactions!! But also 'I think I'm going to learn their names to know a bit more' is how *I* started in April of 2019, trying to distract myself from my final final teacher's exam and now I'm here 3 years later fully on the BTS hype train, so welcome to your way down the rabbit hole!! I'll just throw in my hat in for Dionysus (Rock) - you will only find live version of that so buckle in for their amazing stage presence and Ugh! or Ddaeng for hard rap, welcome to ARMY!

Send big Love from Korea and keep up!!

There's a behind the scenes video for the filming process of this music video. Do check that out, you'll find out how they've filmed it under the hot LA sun. And their Jimmy Fallon live performance in Grand Central Station was also fireeee. Also worth checking out is their song Idol, and their performance of it on 2018 MMA (a music awards but it kinda feels like a mini concert!). There's a whole catalogue of work, not to mention the rap-line and vocal-line specific songs thats worth getting in to -all the way to their earliest works. I'm enjoying your reactions to them, it's like discovering them all over again! The joy of it!
