The interesting thing is that it has absolutely no drums, still has a great rhythm, which is completely created by the bass line.

This is actually the video used as the backdrop to the live performance of the song on the accompanying World Violation Tour in 1990 and 91. It was the first tour of theirs to use video projections. I do love this song. It’s a counterpoint in the album to the songs with big beats and driving bass lines. They’re definitely a band of depth and contrasts. No matter the era. From 1981-now.

Haven't seen the video before. Very....Depeche mode !! LOL What a song. I usually describe this as a dark lullaby. This could be the title music for any Conjuring movie.

A beautiful song from one of the best Albums ever......please listen to songs like "Blue Dress" and "Halo" as well......they will blow your mind if you are in the same mood as you were right now....
