Hello from Texas, Harrison! Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human. First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she was born with a spectacular larynx. It's been called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. Doesn't matter what language Diana sings in, but, she sings in her native Russian, also French, English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Arabic and some German. Diana is a true artist......... sings,dances,acts,draws, paints, plays piano and ukulele, cooks traditional Russian dishes and uploads the videos. Currently attending Gitis school of theater arts in Moscow as a freshman, simular to Juilliard school of music in New York. Soon to be releasing her first full cd/album. Hi Harrison, yes you were correct in your assumption that Diana (pronounced Dee-ana) was 15 in this performance. This was in early 2019, she has just had her 18th birthday on 31st May. The show is called "You Are Super" designed to highlight & help children from a disadvantaged background. Diana has a Wikipedia page which will give you more information and there is also a list of songs (7 in total) which she sang on the show over two seasons in 2018 & 2019 - she won both years, the latter being a "Super Season" where previous winners and finalists were invited back. Of the songs you might try "Rechenka" (My Sweet River) in 2018 & V'yuga (Blizzard) in 2019, which will give you some idea of her range, artistry & power - although all are really top notch performances. Apart from "Rechenka" (a reworking of centuries old folk songs) all are covers - "Wicked Game" was originally done by Chris Isaac in the '90s. Should you wish to hear more up to date (and original) songs, two singles have been released over the past few months "Into The Skies" & "Happiness" - both are sung in Russian.

There's disbelief from everyone upon first listen. She has a voice like none other with incredible range. After this song which is in English and a cover of Chris Isaac's hit Wicked Game, I definitely recommend Rechenka (meaning river), a song in Russian but it shows off her amazing vocal range and singing techniques.

Great reaction! Yes, she was 15 when she sang Wicked Game. If you like her stage presence and that tribal sound you should listen to Rechenka (The River) which she sang at 14. Diana is a contralto, the lowest of the female voices. While her voice is quite low for a female, and especially being that young, that's not really what gets most people. What gets them is the resonance she's putting on her voice. Check out her performance of Human. It's another song that takes a moment to comprehend. LOL
