If you want to follow Dimash's career progression over the last five years, here is a song list in semi-chronological order, minus the songs you have already listened to. You should consider listening to his covers from the 2017 "I Am A Singer" competition Lara Fabian's "Adagio," Celine Dion's "All by Myself," and Freddie Mercury's "The Show Must Go On." Also from the same show Confessa & Diva Dance, Opera 2, Daybreak, and Autumn Strong. His "I Am A Singer" 2018 guest performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is a must. Then there are Love is like a Dream, Your Love, Olimpico (Ogni Pietra) from Igor Krutoy's channel, Diva Dance (Bastau Concert), Across Endless Dimensions, Ti Amo Cosi (with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina), Ulisse (Duet with Aida Garifullina), and Know (both the regular performance as well as the vocalise). This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh KZbinr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him. There is another performance of this song of one of his more recent concerts. It is as good or better because you can hear certain parts clearer and the camera stays on him most of the time. Love your reactions. Dimash is very mesmerizing to watch. I can’t take my eyes off of him either. There are two other performances of this song you must react to in the near future. One is fan cam from his Moscow concert and the other from I think arnau concert which is titled new sinful passion. You will love both of these other two performances. He always changes it up. Personalmente mi perdo completamente ascoltando le sue canzoni più "tranquille", quelle senza note alte, quelle dove c'è solo la sua voce (calda, vellutata, emozionante e piena di sentimento) come : "Mahabatt ber magan", "Sagyndym seni", ""Don't make me dream". Tutte in kazako. Ma se vuoi una scossa, se vuoi canzoni che sono un "pugno nello stomaco" per potenza o per profondità di temi o per emozioni, allora ti suggerisco "Unforgattable day" in GAKKU, "Adagio" (da "I'm singer", 2017, cantata in inglese. Ha un climax davvero da togliere il fiato!), "War and Peace" 2021 ( in cinese con musica originale di Dimash), "Samaltau" (in kazako, folcloristica, molto importante per Dimash e tratta da una lettera scritta nel 1916 da un ragazzo che partiva come soldato), " Qairam elim" (in kazako, di cui Dimash ha diretto il video per la prima volta), "Across endless dimensions" colonna sonora di un film di fantascienza italiano ( in inglese, è ipnotizzante) . I can’t wait to see where you go next! You allow yourself to feel Dimash’s energetic power to affect your cellular body - it’s so powerful it is hard to focus on subtitles when you’re on sensory overload already. They are great lyrics but if you’re anything like me, you’ll watch this 100 more times. There are some songs where lyrics are more important.. then there are performances like AVE MARIA 👉he premiered 3 songs at New Wave- Stranger was 1st, then Fly Away, & on finale night he premiered Ave Maria. As always, I would say it’s likely you’ve never heard anything quite like it. Then there’s 👉Know Vocalise from Kiev. Trust me- you don’t need subtitles for either of these, you will be completely mesmerized & feel many things ☺️

I love watching the facial expressions as New dears are anointed by Dimash’s incredible vocal skills. I have seen maybe two reactors who didn’t like Dimash - one a Swedish fellow who listened once and sounded very bitter and another who tried another recommended song and loved it - suffice it to say, I don’t watch the one who was negative. I understand that not every song may appeal to everyone, but he does have something for everyone. His talent is undeniable and I too listen several times per day…. He is on my Spotify (mom of four here and I didn’t join when my kids joined - I only added on when I found out that Dimash is on Spotify.). Dimash is part of the music of my life - his purity of vocals and depth of emotions surrounds my sometimes weary heart and soothes my soul. Very respectful reaction. Cheers from Canada!

Another great reaction. That last run of Dimash's was 23 seconds long. The greatest vocalist on the planet. And an incredibly humble young man. You might want to check out "Love is Like a Dream" and "Ogni Pietra" (Olympico w/Igor Krutoy).

24 seconds!!! And I will die on that hill!! 😂 Definitely make sure Love Is Like a Dream is the kremlin version in burgundy suit, & Olimpico version off of composer Igor Krutoy’s channel. It is from Dimash’s concert, but isn’t on his own page. Other versions have audio sync issues and/or subpar filming etc. Look for the thumbnail with a ring of white lights.

Hello dear, At the end of this performance, the gentleman in the white shirt who applauds him is a famous pianist, a Russian composer who was retired and upon hearing Dimash began to compose for him and accompany him in some performances. Among them is one that I love. is "Love Is Like A Dream" and all the others we are asking for. OK.? Gratitude.

Another great performance Dimash did of this song is at his Moscow concert a year later. So different to this performance, but every bit a masterpiece as this performance is! I also love the piano here. It indeed enhances the song, its haunting atmosphere. This cover, or remake, is certainly one of Dimash's (many) masterpieces. The song was composed by the man in the piano and originally performed by this band here, A-Studio. But: it was very different compared to this epic crossover Dimash made of it. If you are interested to see how Dimash changed the song, check the original. One thing comes to mind... Dimash is a musical genius. Thank you for a great reaction & insights!

Nice to see you are enjoying your journey. So far you have listed to Dimash sing in French, English and Russian. Whichever song you choose next you can't go wrong. It is very difficult to pick a favourite song by Dimash because each is different. There is one, Autumn Strong, that Dimash sang in Chinese at the 2017 Singer competition in China.
