Now imagine this : I was at the concert in Kazakhstan a few weeks ago when he premiered this, I saw him performing THIS on stage, from a few meters away. Aside from the stunning vocals, the physical performance of the song, especially at the end, was just as stunning, and quite heartbreaking. After he finished the song, when he finally looked at the crowd for a moment, the expression in his eyes was bewildered and exhausted. I`m a fan. I know this man pretty well. Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction! Dimash has already performed this song live at his Almaty concer. There are some famcam's out there. Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from her mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. I was on September 23 in Almaty at Dimash's concert. It was an amazing experience! Dimash lived, died and was reborn on stage! I was in the fan zone not far from the stage and mostly followed Dimash, not the screens. Already on the fancams, I noticed what I had missed in my live perception, because you can’t embrace the immensity. The video sequence on huge screens (7-story building high) did not duplicate what was happening on the stage, but provided an additional illustration to the song, often creepy and heartbreaking (for example, documentary footage of mockery of people in concentration camps) . The stadium was huge, and the audience that was in the stands, on the contrary, could not see Dimash on stage, but could only see what was happening on the screens. Therefore, all of us who attended this concert received a different experience. Fancams allow each of us to fill in the missing gaps. Fancams have their drawbacks: poor video and sound quality, monotonous camera angles, often lack of close-ups. That's why we are all waiting for the release of this concert in a professional capacity. I will watch Dimash on fancams, in professional shoots, live at concerts.... None of this is preferable, because all of them complement each other.

Personally I prefer the live fancam version . The graphics etc in the music video are too graphic for me . I was at the concert and could not see Dimash only the screens and his majestic voice and the impact was still heart-rending.

Hi, thanks for this response, this song is very powerful in multiple ways. Dimash is a very perceptive artist, he reacts to what is happening in the world. At his young age, he takes on his shoulders the pain and suffering of the whole world. This, in my opinion, is his struggle, his attempt to awaken people to be more interested in what is happening in the world. It is easier to just have fun and not burden ourselves with the problems of others As long as it does not concern us. I wrote this to you in the thread of "This Love" about a month ago: This masterpiece is a mini movie (about 13 minutes long) and took him 3 years to write. It is so emotional, you must pause it constantly to avoid a complete breakdown. It is extremely symbolic and you will better appreciate it if you know a couple of things in the beginning. First of all, Dimash has devoted his life to world peace; it is his heart and soul. He wrote "War and Peace" as a teenager. In this mini movie, he is the little boy drowning. His friend who saves him turns out to be an army commander. The little girl at the beach ends up becoming Dimash's wife. The little girl is their daughter and his wife is the one giving birth to a son, who turns out to be the leader to peace (the light). The wife dies in childbirth; the son is born at the same time that Dimash (his father) dies. I truly believe he was sent by God.

I started writing this song I'm about to perform, three years ago. Generally speaking, my main purpose in writing this work is to call for peace in the world. I saw him singing this song live, in his concert in Almaty (Sept2022): it was the most powerful musical moment of all my life. Chills and tears all the performance. Because there were several cameras and 1 or 2 drones flying in the stadium during the concert: the shots will be amazing! I am so impatient to relive this experience! I've been waiting for your reaction to this masterpiece. Don't apologize for being emotional. I've watched this many times and cry every single time. It should make you cry. The message is so powerful and the timing is crazy. I do swear Dimash has been gifted to us at this time to bring awareness to what humankind is doing to destroy our world. He's here to bring peace and understanding. That might sound weird to some people but those were my thoughts from the first time I heard Dimash and this video/movie just solidified it. He introduced this live at his Almaty concert on 9/23/22 (I think that's the correct date). He gave a beautiful speech before singing and he poured his heart and soul into his performance. It's STUNNING! But you will cry watching it live too. Well at least I did. His vocals live are INSANE! I hope you can find his live performance and please react to it! This is the story as I see it: It’s the story of three childhood friends who are all joined by the symbol of the necklace. Dimash as a child saves the boy who eventually became the Dictator. Dimash married the girl from his childhood, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills his childhood friend, (the dictator) who he saved from drowning when they were children. The Dictator’s soldier’s kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to their son, his father’s necklace is passed down to him. It’s Dimash’s son at the end leading all people and all religions to peace (Throughout the video when Dimash is singing in a Middle Eastern style, that’s flash forward to the future, where the people are being led by Dimash’s son.)

If one is not deeply moved after watching this video, then they need to watch it until they get it. It's those who don't get it that block the way to change. This Mini Movie Music Video should receive every award it qualifies for. I believe the experience of watching it as a movie and treating Dimash's vocals as the audio is so much better than trying to analyze his vocals and the video because I find a lot of people lose the message when they do that. Recovery is transformative n can take weeks.. I was smiling at people as if I was tripping after attending his O2 London 2018 concert.. Re-watching the various full concert videos via KZbin takes me back to that moment of time every time.. Attending his Prague concert this year was therapeutic after the whole pandemic experience.. As both of these concerts were over 2 hours long, reacting to multiple performances could be preparation for a full on 2+ hour concert.. A few reactors are doing concert reactions.. There is a live fan cam performance of this from his concert last month in Kazakhstan & it is amazing! At the end he looked absolutely spent as though he had put everything into it. Dimash wrote the story for this as well as composing the music & doing the screenplay & it has taken 3 years in the making. He has put his heart & soul into this as he is so anti war. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
