i may be wrong, i often am, but i do believe is is operatically trained (this is on of his way softer songs, he is heavy meatal all day, and to hear him sing like this brings new meaning to legend) i grew up listening to Disturbed, and lemme tell ya, this i one in a few that are "sung". his voice is so fire with the metal too though, so check it out haha

I got the biggest kick out of watching you react! I went down the rabbit hole of Disturbed’s videos and concerts in 2020 as we were all shutting down with COVID. I saw this first and was hooked! I love their heavy metal performances as well as their ballads! David Draiman has an incredible voice. He was trained as a Jewish Cantor in his youth, which gives him that beautiful resonance in his voice. The others are gifted musicians. The band just released a new album last year. They just released an awesome official video of the Single from the album, Don’t Tell Me. Ann Wilson of Heart, the best female rock artist ever, duets with him!!! You cry for sure. It’s about the end of Draiman’s marriage last year. Checked the kind of artists you react to and really love the majority of the bands so I subscribed. Can’t wait to watch your reactions! You’re really original and fun!

His grandfather disowned him when he found out that David wanted to pursue music. You David shares his struggles with depression and sadness about losing his friends at a young age to depression and or addiction. At the concert ,he has a public service announcement talking about not being alone if you are suffering from depression and or addiction.A phone number you can call if you are contemplating suicide. He stops the concert to ask who in the audience has been affected by depression and/or addiction. Please raise your hand…about 99% of us raised our hands. You are not alone. Paul Simon said he wrote this after a dream and the meaning is still argued about. The video I feel talks of the rediscovery of lost music. This song has so many different meanings... When schools, especially public schools from kindergarten through high school, run out of funding, the first programs they cut ✂️ are the art's, music, theater, etc. Also, ISOLATION, DIVISION, LONELINESS, NOT COMMUNICATING, NOT STANDING UP FOR OUR RIGHTS OR EXPRESSING OURSELVES AND WHAT WE BELIEVE IN. First off, if I had recommended this cover or any cover of "The Sound of Silence" to you or any of these channels, I would have told you/them to first play the original video by Simon and Garfunkel. Paul Simon wrote this classic song in 1964 and I think their first video was released in 1965.
