I have a music streaming service. I am a runner. I started back and the beginning and listened to every Donny album until the current during my runs. I never got tired of it and I was sorry when I came to the end. (Did the same for all the Osmond albums.)

When I was in Junior High, I was madly in love with Donny Osmond. I had white perfect smiling teeth postered all over my bedroom walls. And, I remember 93.0 KHJ played “Puppy Love” for four hours straight! The DJ was Rick Dees (who also recorded a pop song called Disco Duck) 🦆🤣🤣 Saw the Osmonds twice, gifts from my dad. ❤

Donny Osmond had the cutest face and personality. Loved all of his songs back then and still do today. He turned out to be such an amazing man.

If you want to go way back with the Osmonds check out any of the old appearances on the Andy Williams show. Donny first appears when he is 5 and the other brothers sang as a quartet before that. They were pretty amazing. They sang, danced and played instruments on there at a very early age. I’ve heard that Joe Jackson used to have his boys watch them for inspiration before the Jackson Five became famous.

I was so in love with Donny when this came out. I was in Junior High. Had his pictures all over my walls. Thanks for reacting to Puppy Love. Great memories. You need to check out his live performance of Survivor.💜💜💜

I was a fan of Donny's and had several of his records, but, to me, the most talented of all the Osmonds were the four playing the instruments. The 3 on guitars (Alan, Wayne, and Merrill) and the drummer (Jay) are the 4 original singing Osmond Brothers, and, their energy and voices are amazing. Donny, Marie, and Jimmy (I don't count Tom and Virl due to their deafness) are good, but if I had my choice, it would be the 4 original Osmond Brothers Everytime.

Now you need to go back even farther. Donny and his brothers were on the Andy Williams show in the early 60’s. There is a video of the brothers singing and dancing to, I’ve got spurs that jingle jangle and then they also sing with Andy Williams a song called, Tumbling Tumbleweed. It’s actually a 2 fer but Donny was so cute and tiny on that show. I think he was about 6 or 7 but he knew them dance routines.

This is very nostalgic. I was six when my family moved from England to Guadalajara Mexico. There was one radio station that played all the US/Brit hits. So this really takes me to a time & place. Osmonds & Jacksons were our faves at that age.

Donny and Michael defined the term “teen idol”. If you know how crazy Elvis fans were, imagine that it’s the teeny boppers.

I remember his voice changed quite soon after this song became a hit and at live shows the song suddenly had to be sung several notes lower. Adult Donny was the best Joseph in Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat. I don’t know if you seen the “Weird Al” Yankovic, white and nerdy that has Dan in it behind him dancing. It’s hilarious as all ours videos are, but when I saw Donnie acting goofy like that behind him, I tell you that made me truly laugh out loud! He was always so professional, and didn’t let himself go crazy like that. Just dancing world. For him to do that so the great side of him that I love! And the song is great too. Here it is. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKKZgKGZg5uSfNEsi=_iSVbV00xLcWfDgs
