Actually there are a lot of other channels which discussing abt them, but that channel is the one who often uploaded videos abt Dreamcatcher and become reference for many InSomnia (including me also😁) Another extra info for you too : Dreamcatcher also collaborating with Producer Han Dongcheol and his production company Funky Studio to produce their own first reality show. Producer Han Dongcheol is often cited as "Star Producer" who has led several famous programs such as "Produce 101", "Show Me The Money", "Unpretty Rapstar", and "Sixteen" during his times on Mnet before he left and joined with YG Entertainment at 2017, which he also eventually left to start a new fresh by establishing his own production company called Funky Studio. For a rocker/metalhead Dreamcatcher is the perfect entry to the world of kpop. They have rock/metal songs, also jazz, ballads, pop, etc.Their discography is so diverse it's mind blowing. I listened to metal/rock (Slipknot, Judas, The Pretty Reckless, Band Maid for example) before Dreamcatcher and I'm absolutely in love with these ladies and their music. They are very unique in so many way. Hope you'll revisit their music in the future and also (even on offcam) give their personality a chance to charm you through fan made video compilations. As JiU, the leader of the group said during a car ride: Rock and Roll, baby!

Dreamcatcher are the only kpop group to consistently incorporate rock and metal in their music, but there’s been a lot of rock and punk flavored tracks popping up in kpop these past few months. It used to be much harder to come by, so I’m really happy about this new development. Definitely check out more Dreamcatcher. They’re the perfect bridge between the kpop and rock worlds. If you want other rock-flavored kpop songs or Korean bands that play their own instruments, just ask and I’ll provide some suggestions.

Pink Fantasy (and to some extent, PIXY) are groups that have consistently included rock in their music as well. Dreamcatcher is the most famous, but there are definitely other groups^^

@@sungmin7723 Pink Fantasy are not consistent in their utilization of rock. Shadow Play is not rock and neither is Iriwa or Lemon Candy. They only have two rock/metal songs. PIXY don’t have any rock/metal songs and are more in the realm of dark EDM and dark pop.

@@nerasomnia what i meant for pink fantasy is that they've been going on a more rock/metal centric route compared to their older songs. poison got them quite a bit of attention (for a nugu anyways) so theyre definitely going to ride that wave, if they decide to have a comeback that is. i wasnt sure about pixy, i dont listen to them that often but i remember thinking it was rock-ish, but maybe i remembered wrong. my bad on that one!

dreamcatcher \:D/ there is kpop... and then there is dreamcatcher \:D/ maison is a little more on the pop/electronic side compared to some of their other title tracks. they always mix it up so their songs can be more on the real instrumentation side, electronic heavy, or a combination of both. try 'because' since it's a more recent title track released prior to maison. still a bit more on the pop side but it does incorporate some heavy elements. figured since you are already deep into jrock, dreamcatcher's more fusion tracks may be a little more new and interesting.

Dreamcatcher was invited to the Primavera Sound, Europe's largest music festival, last month and performed in full on a solo stage, and is now touring various cities in the United States. Their Nightmare series (Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You & I, What, Piri) has *way* more J-rock and J-pop influences in it than their more recent stuff. From about Deja Vu onwards, they've been doing rock *fusion* with different genres. (If you ask me though, Fly High is by far their 'least rock' title track so idk, whatever floats people's boats.) Scream was mixed with EDM, Boca was mixed with Moombahton, Odd Eye was mixed with some... cyberpunk/futuristic stuff? and BEcause was straight pop-rock (with the lyrics being Misery and the choreo and MV based on Us) while Deja Vu was more... orchestral rock.

Funny you checked out Maison first because it's their least rock title track 😂 if you're looking for something that's even heavier I recommend Endless Night (their heaviest title track), Scream (more of an edm), Boca (rock fusion), Odd Eye (rock fusion) and BEcause (bubble pop + rock- this one is interesting as it also has creepy elements in the MV) !

Welcome to the Dreamworld! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!

MAISON = French for Home and this Song is about our World and that we need to change something to save it. Dreamcatcher is my favorite KPOP Group :) They have a lot of Songs to check out. There Songs are telling a "story" like the Dystopia Trilogy: - Scream = Medival Setting - Boca = Present Day - Odd Eye = Future Cyberpunk Setting Also they may be a reference to the " 3 wise Monkey quote" See No Evil,Speak No Evil and Hear no Evil. You also startet listening to Blackpink which is also a huuuge rabbithole. I also recommend (G)-IDLE they are also a huge Girl Group. Mamamoo,ITZY, Red Velvet ,IVE and aespa. Chung Ha is also a realy realy awesome soloist to check out. You will see the KPOP World is a huge popular thing to dive into. Have fun ;)

I think you should check out Deja Vu and Endless Night. My favorites from them haha but also 2 of the best, if not the best songs from them. Deja Vu is epic, poetic and kinda have the gothic/symphonic rock inspo! Endless night is heavy, recalls more a j-metal vibe!

You need to do all of Dreamcatcher chronologically from the start with Chase Me including all the b-sides and special clips and even the two Minx music videos to see the contrast between their original forming and redebut. You'll find a lot of stuff you'll like particularly in the older stuff which has more j-rock influence in it, espeicially their Japanese songs obviously.

Bro..what? This is a completely different song. And in case you don't know, there's something called "sample", lots of American artists uses it. Dreamcatcher inspiration goes a lot more to j-rock mixed with edm, ballad, etc.
