This came out when Eddie was King of the World in 1984. This song briefly reached billboard top 10 while Beverly Hills Cop was crushing the box office, and his comedy special Raw was the most viewed on HBO at the time.

They recorded this song at Rick James house in Buffalo NY during a snowstorm. They were stuck at Rick's house for a week.

Eddie made 3 cds and sang on some other songs. He worked with stevie wonder,has a song with michael jackson, this is with rick james , did a song with shabba ranks and others. The title song of his first cd is called How Could It Be a great slow ballad and worth hearing

This song was actually recorded at Rick’s studio at his East Amherst, NY home outside of Buffalo(about an hours drive in the wintertime.) He didn’t live in Buffalo…his Mom did though in the “Fruit Belt” section.

Eddie took a lot of flack for this song, but I feel like he sings well on it. Listening to Eddie sing is sort of like watching MJ play baseball -- when you are that talented you can do just about anything, but of course the first talent here is film and comedy. He is a legend.

Great reaction, this was the song at the time. Eddie Murphy also did a song and video with Michael Jackson called "What's Up with You?" The song really wasn't all that great, but it was interesting to see and hear them two singing together in a music video, you should check it out.
