In his free time, Elvis sang gospel music most of the time. He loved to hear and sing with gospel groups.

I love seeing a new generation recognize how impressive Elvis was when performing. His vocals were always amazing, even when he was near the end of his life. Glad you noticed that he was directing the band; he knew exactly what sound he wanted and when he wanted it and guided the band and backup singers.

Elvis could afford the best, top musicians. He had a full orchestra, rock band, and gospel singers on tour with him. He was the biggest star in the world.
@betterthanyourname23917 ай бұрын
And he could’ve been much bigger if his greedy manager would’ve let him perform outside of the US. He never wanted elvis to tour other countries.which was a shame.
@emerald18055 ай бұрын
@@betterthanyourname2391 Actually a LOT of the bad things you’ve heard and that people believe about Col. Parker are simply not true. The outright lies perpetuated in that recent “Elvis” movie are one example. He didn’t actually stop Elvis from touring as people say he did. There were many other factors. I don’t like explaining to other Elvis fans that those “awful colonel” myths are not all factual - but they are mostly untrue. I was in the music business then, and can tell you that Col. Parker was highly respected by everyone in the business & that any other big star would have loved to have had him for their manager. There is a lot of modern revisionist, libelous information being told about Tom Parker since his death.

Elvis was and still is the greatest entertainer of my time and I'm old enough to have heard a lot of them. Elvis is probably the most underrated singer of his time the only Grammy he won was for gospel music which I'm sure he was so proud of. Sure he starred in some pretty quirky movies but he was always a star no matter if he was on stage or on screen. He was gone way to soon.

He had a three octave range. He started in gospel, loved black gospel, went to a black church, and in a racially divided era, hired the black female group of singers called the Sweet Inspirations. The were back up for Aretha Franklin at one time. Another great song was "Walk A Mile in My Shoes" Vegas 1970. Any of his gospel is great. Young Elvis sang "Milky White Way" "Take My Hand Precious Lord" "How Great Thou Art" Thanks, for your great reaction, Be Blessed

ELVIS ! Is the King of MUSIC !! A Professor Of Music At Harvard University said that Elvis was such an Extremely Gifted Vocalist because he had Vocal Registers normally found only in Professionally, Voice Trained, Opera singers. He closed his article by saying that Elvis could hit Hi ''G '' Notes that would make a Baritone Opera Singer turn Green with Envy ! Consider the Following.: Elvis could and did Sing Bass, Baritone, 2nd Tenor and 1st Tenor. Also, Elvis successfully sang Rock N' Roll, Jazz, Country, Gospel, Broadway, Blues, And Rhythm and Blues. And Elvis is the only Performer in the History of Recorded Music that is a Member of FIVE Music Halls Of Fame ! Rock 'n Roll , R & B , Rockabilly , Country and Gospel ! Elvis recorded 875 songs! Thank you young man for reacting to this. I decided to subscribe to your channel. I’ve been an Elvis fan since I’m five years old. I can remember the first moment I saw him on ed Sullivan. Funny I can never forget that moment. And throughout my life, I was lucky enough to see him live in concert many times, and as I look back aside from family, celebrations and births. Those were probably the best moments of my life. I know that sounds really odd but when I tell you the thrill I felt as a teenager when he walked on that stage was beyond description. I love the man more than I loved the entertainer. He was an extraordinary human being. He obviously had his faults … But such a kind, loving and generous individual. A really fun one to react to would-be bossa nova baby from the movies fun in Acapulco. There is one from the movie and there is a remix which is a little bit longer and shows a lot more of his dance moves but it’s a fun one. God bless you young man and thank you for making my day. As a nurse I see so much ugliness in pain and it was nice to come home to see you and your reaction. Thank you and God bless.

Great Reaction! I’m a new subscriber, watching your Elvis Reactions. I see you have Reacted to Elvis’ Suspicious Minds, in the 1973 Aloha from Hawaii. If you want to see Elvis in full action, which your Elvis fans always love watching, you might like to React to Suspicious MInds Las Vegas 1970 video …. Elvis became famous not only for his incredible singing, but for his impressive movement on stage. In the 1970 Las Vegas dinner concert, you will see Elvis at his best, so energised that it’s amazing he could continue singing, & just when you think he’s too tired to sing anymore, he blasts that beautiful voice out again. It’s a great performance & one that Elvis fans always Love watching & commenting on. None of his movements were choreographed. Elvis’ very athletic body just moved as the music touched him. This 1970 performance during his Las Vegas concert, was included in the latest Elvis movie. You will also see the playful side of Elvis as he interacts with one of his black backup singers in the Sweet Inspirations group.

Elvis is the GOAT.. end of story.. this song is a cover song of Simon & Garfunkel... it's not a Gospel song.. even though Elvis was the best at singing Gospel also. Elvis could just sing anything and make it perfection. He had the best backup singers I've ever heard, however, Elvis' voice was always more prevalent. You knew he was singing from his soul.. Not sure if it's been mentioned but the only Grammys Elvis ever got were for his Gospel music. He has many Gospel albums, Christmas albums - you name it. This guy recorded over 700 songs in 20 years - all while serving 2 years in the Army and making 31 Feature films. A lot of songs come from the movies he made. But back to Gospel - I'd love to see you witness him sing How Great Thou Art, live. There are several versions out there. I personally like the one from 77 the best but others will disagree. Any version would be awesome. Elvis was the man when it came to Gospel. He put his heart and soul into every song. I was 9 when he passed so all my experience with him was hearing him on the radio all the time in the 70s and then I didn't pick back up on him til I was in my 30s. But it has been so great to discover this man in the past 20 years. A lot of that discovery came from right here watching reaction channels. I've seen so many videos that I would have never even thought of searching for. INCLUDING THIS ONE! Have a blessed day, friend.

Some songs to start with from them are Overseas ft Central Cee, Nookie ft Lil Baby, Eagle ft Noizy and Chrome Hearts ft Offset. I compare them to the UK Rae Stremmurd it’s made up of Young Adz and Dirtbike LB. Young Adz is the more standout member but don’t count out LB he goes harddd. All of their songs so CRAZY views they make party music.
