I Love your reaction to this song. The Falsetto of the lead singer "Emmanuel Johnson" is unexpected and powerful. Old R&B is so comforting. They were talented and had a message in their music which was a double threat. No dancers or nakedness to distract from singers now a days with no real gift for holding the correct note while singing.

First off - stop cursing so much , all of us back when this like music was on the radio and moving up to the 1990's we had no need to cuss / have it in our lyrics, songs , vocabulary etc... Now as far as the vocal group and tune these boys could blow all day / everyday and twice on Sundays- we had several dozen groups in the 70's who were doing this ...so welcome to our music youngster !
